21 Then Moses said: “The people in the midst of whom I am are six hundred thousand men+ on foot, and yet you—you have said, ‘Meat I shall give them, and they will certainly eat for a month of days’!

2 At that the adjutant upon whose hand the king was supporting+ himself answered the man of the [true] God and said: “If Jehovah were making floodgates in the heavens,+ could this thing take place?”+ To this he said: “Here you are seeing it with your own eyes,+ but from it you will not eat.”+

33 However, the disciples said to him: “Where are we in this lonely place going to get sufficient loaves to satisfy a crowd of this size?”+

52 for they had not grasped the meaning of the loaves, but their hearts continued dull of understanding.+
