6 Jesus said to them: “Keep YOUR eyes open and watch out for the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”+

12 In the meantime, when the crowd had gathered together in so many thousands* that they were stepping upon one another, he started out by saying first to his disciples: “Watch out for the leaven+ of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.+

7 Clear away the old leaven, that YOU may be a new lump,+ according as YOU are free from ferment. For, indeed, Christ+ our passover+ has been sacrificed.+

9 A little leaven ferments the whole lump.+
