4 Valuable things will be of no benefit on the day of fury,+ but righteousness itself will deliver from death.+

13 Therefore my people will have to go into exile for lack of knowledge;+ and their glory will be famished men,*+ and their crowd will be parched with thirst.+

13 As in the daytime let us walk decently,+ not in revelries and drunken bouts,+ not in illicit intercourse and loose conduct,*+ not in strife+ and jealousy.
