75 And Peter called to mind the saying Jesus spoke, namely: “Before a cock crows, you will disown me three times.”+ And he went outside and wept bitterly.+

72 And immediately a cock crowed a second time;+ and Peter recalled the saying that Jesus spoke to him: “Before a cock crows twice, you will disown me three times.”+ And he broke down and gave way to weeping.+
