37 Also, the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me.+ YOU have neither heard his voice at any time nor seen his figure;+

17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory,+ when words such as these* were borne to him by the magnificent glory: “This is my son, my beloved, whom I myself have approved.”*+

9 If we receive the witness men give,+ the witness God gives is greater, because this is the witness God gives, the fact that he has borne witness+ concerning his Son.
