24 Father, as to what you have given me, I wish that, where I am, they also may be with me,+ in order to behold my glory that you have given me, because you loved me before the founding*+ of the world.+
17 If, then, we are children, we are also heirs: heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs+ with Christ, provided we suffer+ together that we may also be glorified together.+
23 I am under pressure from these two things;+ but what I do desire is the releasing* and the being with Christ,+ for this, to be sure, is far better.+
16 because the Lord* himself will descend from heaven+ with a commanding call, with an archangel’s+ voice and with God’s trumpet,+ and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first.+
8 From this time on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness,+ which the Lord, the righteous judge,+ will give me as a reward+ in that day,+ yet not only to me, but also to all those who have loved his manifestation.
