14 “‘And this day must serve as a memorial for YOU, and YOU must celebrate it as a festival to Jehovah* throughout YOUR generations. As a statute to time indefinite YOU should celebrate it.

16 “‘And in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, will be Jehovah’s passover.+

16 “Let there be an observing* of the month of Aʹbib,+ and you must celebrate the passover to Jehovah your God,+ because in the month of Aʹbib Jehovah your God brought you out of Egypt by night.+

55 Now the passover+ of the Jews was near, and many people went up out of the country to Jerusalem before the passover in order to cleanse themselves ceremonially.+

12 Accordingly Jesus, six days before the passover, arrived at Bethʹa·ny,+ where Lazʹa·rus*+ was whom Jesus had raised up from the dead.
