1Now it came about in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], on the fifth [day] of the month, while I was in the midst of the exiled+ people by the river Cheʹbar,+ that the heavens were opened+ and I began to see visions of God.*+
16 After being baptized Jesus immediately came up from the water; and, look! the heavens were opened up,+ and he saw descending like a dove+ God’s spirit coming upon him.+
51 He further said to him: “Most truly* I say to YOU men, YOU will see heaven opened up and the angels*+ of God ascending and descending to* the Son of man.”+
