17 If, then, we are children, we are also heirs: heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs+ with Christ, provided we suffer+ together that we may also be glorified together.+

10 Always we endure everywhere in our body the death-dealing treatment given to Jesus,*+ that the life of Jesus may also be made manifest in our body.+

24 I am now rejoicing in my sufferings for YOU,+ and I, in my turn, am filling up what is lacking of the tribulations+ of the Christ in my flesh on behalf of his body, which is the congregation.+
