36 “Concerning that day and hour+ nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son,* but only the Father.+

10 Yet Jehovah’s* day+ will come as a thief,+ in which the heavens will pass away+ with a hissing noise,+ but the elements* being intensely hot will be dissolved,*+ and earth+ and the works in it will be discovered.*+

3 Therefore, continue mindful of how you have received+ and how you heard, and go on keeping [it],+ and repent.+ Certainly unless you wake up,+ I shall come as a thief,+ and you will not know at all at what hour I shall come upon you.+
