21 But you yourself should select out of all the people capable men,+ fearing God,+ trustworthy* men,+ hating unjust profit;+ and you must set these over them as chiefs* over thousands,*+ chiefs over hundreds,* chiefs over fifties and chiefs over tens.*+

13 Get wise and discreet+ and experienced+ men of YOUR tribes, that I may set them as heads over YOU.’+

15 And I will give YOU shepherds in agreement with my heart,+ and they will certainly feed* YOU with knowledge and insight.+

28 Pay attention+ to yourselves+ and to all the flock,+ among which the holy spirit has appointed YOU overseers,*+ to shepherd the congregation of God,*+ which he purchased with the blood+ of his own [Son].*

5 For this reason I left you in Crete,+ that you might correct the things that were defective and might make appointments+ of older men* in city after city, as I gave you orders;+
