3 how shall we escape+ if we have neglected*+ a salvation of such greatness+ in that it began to be spoken through [our] Lord+ and was verified+ for us by those who heard him,

3 Consequently, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling,*+ consider the apostle+ and high priest whom we confess*+—Jesus.

22 to that extent also Jesus has become the one given in pledge of a better covenant.*+

6 Happy+ and holy+ is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death+ has no authority,+ but they will be priests+ of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.+
