16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son,+ so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.+

32 Since he did not even spare his own Son but handed him over for us all,+ will he not also, along with him, kindly give us all other things?

13 while we wait for the happy hope+ and glorious manifestation of the great God and of our Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us+ to set us free*+ from every sort of lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people who are his own special possession, zealous for fine works.+

7 However, if we are walking in the light as he himself is in the light, we do have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.+

16 By this we have come to know love, because that one surrendered his life* for us,+ and we are under obligation to surrender our lives* for our brothers.+
