32 But I have made supplication for you that your faith may not give out;+ and you, once you have returned, strengthen your brothers.”+

28 Pay attention to yourselves+ and to all the flock, among which the holy spirit has appointed you overseers,+ to shepherd the congregation of God,+ which he purchased with the blood of his own Son.+

2 Shepherd the flock of God+ under your care, serving as overseers,* not under compulsion, but willingly before God;+ not for love of dishonest gain,+ but eagerly; 3 not lording it over those who are God’s inheritance,+ but becoming examples to the flock.+
