Virtually every generation has produced its predictions of the imminence of the world’s end.

Does that mean, then, that there is no basis for what Jehovah’s Witnesses have been announcing since 1914​—an end to this world system and an incoming new world system that will convert the earth into a paradise? Is it all a matter of misinterpretation? On the other hand, if Jehovah’s Witnesses are right, how will that affect you?

The answers to these questions are vital to all of us, especially now when we live in a unique period of history, the nuclear age, where man for the first time can make the statement, “There may be no children or grandchildren.”
