    • 30 Now that you are devastated, what will you do?

      You used to clothe yourself with scarlet,

      To deck yourself with gold ornaments,

      And to enlarge your eyes with black paint.*

      But it is in vain that you beautified yourself,+

      For those lusting after you have rejected you;

      They are now seeking to take your life.*+
