    • 4 “Do not say in your heart when Jehovah your God drives them away from before you, ‘It was because of my own righteousness that Jehovah has brought me in to take possession of this land.’+ Rather, it is because of the wickedness of these nations+ that Jehovah is driving them away from before you.
