    • 21 οἱ They δὲ but προσαπειλησάμενοι having further threatened ἀπέλυσαν they released αὐτούς, them, μηδὲν nothing εὑρίσκοντες finding τὸ the πῶς how κολάσωνται they might lop off αὐτούς, them, διὰ through τὸν the λαόν, people, ὅτι because πάντες all ἐδόξαζον they were glorifying τὸν the θεὸν God ἐπὶ upon τῷ the (thing) γεγονότι· having occurred;
