    • 43 ὁ the δὲ but ἑκατοντάρχης centurion βουλόμενος wishing διασῶσαι to save through τὸν the Παῦλον Paul ἐκώλυσεν he was preventing αὐτοὺς them τοῦ of the βουλήματος, wish, ἐκέλευσέν he commanded τε and τοὺς the (ones) δυναμένους being able κολυμβᾷν to be swimming ἀπορίψαντας having thrown themselves off πρώτους first ἐπὶ upon τὴν the γῆν earth ἐξιέναι, to be going out,
