d As regards a comparative Greek-German version, Dr. Eberhard Nestle brought forth his Novum Testamentum Graece et Germanice in the year 1898. According to the title page, this volume presents The New Testament in Greek and German as edited by Eberhard Nestle - The Greek Text with variant readings and Manuscripts and Editions - The German Text according to the new revised edition of Luther’s translation, compared with Luther’s last edition of 1545. In this volume each page of the Greek text has alongside, on the opposite page, the German translation.
