a Galatians 2:3 describes Titus as a Greek (Helʹlen). This may mean that he was of Greek descent. However, it is claimed that some Greek writers used the plural form (Helʹle·nes) in referring to non-Greeks who were Greek in language and culture. It is possible that Titus was Greek in that sense.
