⁴ The people of ancient Israel had God’s own name called upon them, and so we should imagine that they would have had his divine presence with them.

Why had he become like a man who is perplexed at the problem that faces him, he being in no position to cope with it? Or like a mighty man who is nevertheless unable to help people needing to be saved from the consequences of their own course of action?
