Later that year Brother Milton Henschel paid a visit to Mauritius and a branch office of the Society was established there to look after the Kingdom interests on the three South Indian Ocean islands of Madagascar, La Réunion and Mauritius.

In 1955 Milton Henschel and Robert Nisbet visited the island to establish the work under the guidance of the Society’s branch office in Mauritius. Soon special pioneers were sent out from France.
