The Bulletin,f a folder containing information directly related to the field service, contained a brief testimony, then called a canvass, that was to be memorized and used when witnessing to people.

Starting in 1919 the Bulletin was published to provide stimulus for the field service, first in distributing The Golden Age and later with regard to all the various types of evangelizing activity.
