There were 13 publishers meeting in Grecia, where Sisters Evelyn Ferguson (now Taylor) and Mildred Gumbs were assigned as the first special pioneers in the country.

Lila Swaby and Evelyn Ferguson went to Gilead in the spring of 1953 and Argentina joined the next class.
