In 17 countries of Europe alone, a total of 1,022,343 persons attended these conventions and 14,548 were baptized in symbol of their dedication to Jehovah, “the God who gives peace.” (Romans 16:20) In the United States and Canada, an additional 1,416,471 persons attended the “Divine Peace” conventions and 14,243 were baptized.
