Ten young brothers came to work full-time on the site under the direction of one of the Branch Committee members, Rodney Fraser, an Australian, who was also a builder. Most of those volunteers were from bush congregations.

Omega Nunu went back home to Taba’a village located high in the mountains of the Kwara’ae section of Malaita. He became the only elder in the congregation.
