5 Da time, the Jews dem who get deep respect for God da came from different-different country dem wor in Jerusalem. 6 And when the people hear this sound, all of them came together and they wor confuse. And da because each of them hear the disciples talking to them in their own language. 7 And they wor really surprise and they ask: “Yor see, ehn all this people da talking coming from Galʹi·lee? 8 So how come all of us hearing them talking to us in our own language? 9 The people dem da here with us from Par′thi·a, Media, E′lam, Mes·o·po·ta′mi·a, Ju·de′a, Cap·pa·do′ci·a, Pon′tus, the district of Asia, 10 Phryg′i·a, Pam·phyl′i·a, Egypt and people who came from the part of Lib′y·a da close to Cy·re′ne. And also the Jews and the people who join the Jews religion da came from Rome to visit, they here with us. 11 And some people came from Cre′te, and Arabia and we hear them talking in our language dem about the wonderful thing dem God na do.” 12 Yes, all of them wor really surprise and confuse, and they started asking each other: “Wetin happening here so?” 13 But other people started playing fun out of them, and say: “They drunk.”
14 But Peter and the 11 apostles stand up and he talk with loud voice, and say: “People from Ju·de′a and all of yor who living in Jerusalem, yor listen good-good because I want yor to know what I coming say. 15 Yor thinking say this people drunk. But to tell yor the truth, this people not drunk because it just 9 o’clock in the morning. 16 But da what God use his prophet Joel to talk about: 17 ‘God say, “in the last days, I will put some of my spirit on different-different people, and your sons and your daughter dem will prophesy. And your young men dem will see vision and your old men dem will have dreams. 18 And da time, I will even put some of my spirit on my men and women slave dem, and they will talk about my message. 19 And I will do wonderful thing dem in heaven and perform miracles on the earth: blood, fire and thick smoke. 20 The sun will turn dark and the moon will turn to blood before Jehovah* great and special day come. 21 And anybody who call Jehovah* name will be save.”’
22 “People in Israel, yor listen to what I coming tell yor: Yourself yor know Jesus the Naz·a·rene′ who God send. And God use him to perform miracles and wonderful thing dem and signs when he wor with yor. 23 Yor arrest this man and use people who can’t obey the Law to kill him. But it happen because God knew it before time and da what He decide. 24 But God free him from death by bringing him back to life because it wor not possible for death to hold him forever. 25 Da the reason why David talk about him and say: ‘I always thinking about Jehovah,* and nothing will trouble me because he on my right hand side. 26 Because of this, I really happy and when I talking I can really be happy. So long I living I will continue to trust in God. 27 And da because you will not leave me* in the Grave,* and you will not allow my body to get rotten because I loyal to you. 28 You na make me to know the way to get life. And you will really make me to be happy when I in front of you.’
29 “My people, and my brother dem, yor please allow me to talk about David our family head. He die and they bury him, and his grave still here today. 30 He wor prophet and he knew da God swear and promise him da He will put one of his sons on his throne. Because of this, 31 David knew before time da God will bring the Christ back to life, and he talk about it. He say God will not leave the Christ in the Grave* and his body will not get rotten. 32 God bring Jesus back to life, and we saw it. 33 So Jesus went to heaven and he sit down on God right hand side, and his Pa give him the holy spirit da he promise. Because of da, he na give us the holy spirit, just what yor see and hear. 34 David not go to heaven, but hisself say, ‘Jehovah* say to my Lord: “Sit down on my right hand side 35 until I put your enemy dem under your foot.”’ 36 So let all the people in Israel know da for true-true God made Jesus Lord and Christ, the same Jesus who yor kill on the stake.”
37 When they hear this one, it really touch their hearts, and they ask Peter and the other apostle dem: “My people, my brother dem, wetin we mon do?” 38 Peter tell them say: “Yor repent, and each of yor mon get baptize in Jesus Christ name so da God can forgive your sins. And God will give yor the holy spirit for free. 39 Because God promise to give it to yor and your children dem, and all the people dem who far off, and those who Jehovah* our God will call to come to him.” 40 So he explain plenty other things to them. And he preach to them good-good and continue encouraging them and say: “Yor do the thing dem da will make yor to get save from this wicked world.” 41 So the people who wor happy to accept what he say got baptize.
