To the Romans

8 So the people dem who united with Jesus Christ not guilty. 2 The law of the holy spirit* na give yor life so da yor can live and be united with Jesus Christ. Da the same law na save yor from the law of sin and the law of death. 3 Moses Law wor not get the power to free yor because human being not perfect and they can sin. But God free yor by sending his Son on earth to be human being.* He came because of sin, so da God can move the sin da in our body dem. 4 This one happen so da we can do the right thing dem the Law say we mon do, so da we can’t allow the sin in our body to control us, but to allow God spirit to control us. 5 The people who can do what their body want can always be thinking on the bad-bad thing dem their body want them to do. But the people who can allow the holy spirit to direct them can always think on what the holy spirit want them to do. 6 The people who can always think on the thing dem* da can make them to sin will die. But the people dem who can always think on the thing dem about the spirit will get life and good* friendship with God. 7 The person who can always think on the thing dem the body want him to do will make hisself enemy to God because he can’t obey God Law. And to talk the truth, he not able to obey God Law. 8 So the people dem who can always do the thing their body want, can’t make God happy.

9 But brothers, yor can’t do the thing dem your body* want yor to do. If God spirit with yor for true-true, then yor obeying the direction from the spirit. But if anybody can’t think the way Christ can think,* da person not for Christ. 10 But if yor united with Christ, yor will die because of sin, but the spirit will give yor life because yor can do the right thing. 11 God spirit bring Jesus back to life. If da spirit with yor, God will use it to make your body da can die to also live.

12 So brothers, we mon not allow our body to control us to do the thing dem they want do. 13 If yor obey the body, then yor will surely die. But if yor allow the spirit to help yor to not do what the body want, then yor will live. 14 Because all the people dem who can allow God spirit to direct them, they really God sons. 15 God not give yor his spirit for yor to be slaves or to be scare again, but God use da spirit to make us his children dem.* And da spirit made us to talk loud and say: “Abba,* Father!” 16 God spirit can make us to be sure* da we God children. 17 So if we God children, then we will get the thing he want give us. We will also get the big position da Jesus Christ get. But we mon be willing to suffer like him so da God can give us the same wonderful blessing da he give Jesus.

18 I look at all the suffering we going through now-now to be nothing when I compare it to the blessings we will get. 19 The thing dem God made* really waiting for the time when God will show his children dem. 20 The thing dem God made never wanted to live in the condition where they not get any hope for the future. But God allow them to live like da. And when he do it, he give them hope. 21 He knew da the thing dem he made will not be slave to sin and death again, but they will enjoy the wonderful freedom da God children get. 22 We know da all the thing dem God made continue to suffer and to feel pain together up to now. 23 Apart from this one, God na give us the first part of the blessing he get for us, and da the holy spirit. We grieving in our heart, and at the same time we trying our best to wait for the time he will make us his children. And he able to do this one because Christ na pay the price to free us from this body da not perfect. 24 When God save us from sin, he give us this hope. But if somebody can see the thing they hoping for, then they not need to hope for da thing again, ehn da true? 25 But when we hope for the thing dem we can’t see, then we can continue to wait and bear it with our whole heart.

26 Also, the holy spirit can help us when we weak. We can know da we need to pray, but we not know wetin to pray for. But the holy spirit can beg God for us when we grieving in our heart and we not know what to say. 27 And God who can check in our heart know what the spirit saying, because it can pray for God people in line with what God want.

28 We know da God can make the thing dem he made to work together to benefit the people who love him. God choose this people dem because of what he get in mind. 29 Because from the beginning, he knew about the people dem he wor coming choose. So he decided da he will make them to be just like his own Son. Then the Son can be the firstborn for his plenty brother dem. 30 Also, he call the people dem he na choose. He also say da they wor righteous people, and in the end, he honor them because they righteous.

31 So wetin we get to say about all this thing dem? If God on our side, who will be against us? 32 So if God not allow anything to stop him from giving his own Son to die for all of us, yor not think he will give us all the thing dem he promise us just how he give his Son for us? 33 Who will say bad thing against the people dem God na choose? Da God the One who say da they righteous people. 34 You think anybody can say da they mon punish them? No, because Jesus Christ die for them and came back to life. Now-now, he on God right hand side and he begging for us.

35 Yor think anything can stop Jesus Christ from showing love to us? Yor think when we going through problem, hard time or people treating us bad, it will stop Jesus Christ from showing us his love? Suppose we hungry, we not get plenty clothes to wear, we in danger, or someone say they will kill us? 36 Just how the Scriptures say: “They always want kill us because of you. People see us like sheep da they want kill.” 37 But we able to go through all this thing dem and be successful because of Jesus who love us. 38 I really sure da God and our Lord Jesus Christ love us. So not even death or life or angels or governments or the thing dem da here now or the thing dem da will come or power 39 or anything da way up or anything da way down or any other thing da God made will be able to stop us from getting their love.
