The Thing Dem Da John Write
13 Jesus knew before the Passover festival da the time na come for him to leave this world and go back to the Father. And because he wor having love for his disciple dem, he continue to love them to the end of his life. 2 Da time they wor eating in the evening, the Devil already made Judas Is·car′i·ot, Simon Is·car′i·ot son, to start thinking about selling Jesus. 3 Jesus knew da the Father na put everything in his hand, and he came from God and he wor going back to God. 4 So he got up from the table. The clothes he wor wearing on top, he put it one side. Then he take the towel and tie it around his waist. 5 After da he put water inside one bowl and he started washing his disciple dem foot. Then he wipe their foot with the towel da he tie around his waist. 6 When he reach to Simon Peter, Simon Peter ask him: “Lord, you coming wash my foot?” 7 Jesus tell him say: “You not understand what I doing now, but you will understand it later on.” 8 Peter tell him say: “I will never allow you to wash my foot.” Then Jesus tell him say: “If I not wash your foot, you not fit to be with me.” 9 Simon Peter tell him say: “Lord, don’t only wash my foot but also wash my hands and my head.” 10 Jesus tell him say: “Anybody who na take bath just need to wash his foot because his whole body clean. And yor clean, but not all of yor clean.” 11 Because he knew the person who wor coming sell him, da the reason why he say: “Not all of yor clean.”
12 When he finish washing their foot and he wear his clothes over the one he wor having on, he went back to the table and sit down. Then he ask them: “Yor understand the thing I coming from doing? 13 Yor can call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and yor correct, because I ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’. 14 So if I who the Teacher and Lord na wash your foot, yourself too, yor mon wash each other foot. 15 Because I na set the example for yor. So the same thing I do for yor, da what yor mon also do for each other. 16 To tell yor the truth, the slave not better pass his master, and the person who they send not better pass the person who send him. 17 Since yor know this thing dem, yor will be happy if yor do them. 18 I not talking about all of yor, I know the people who I na choose. But this one happen so the thing the scripture say can come to pass: ‘The person who wor eating my bread na turn against me.’ 19 I telling yor da this thing dem will happen to me, so da when it happen to me yor will believe da this scripture talking about me. 20 To tell yor the truth, anybody who welcome the person I send they welcome me also. And anybody who welcome me they welcome the person who send me too.”
21 When Jesus finish saying this thing dem, his whole heart spoil and he say: “To tell yor the truth, one of yor will betray me.” 22 The disciple dem started looking at each other because they not know which one of them he wor talking about. 23 The disciple who Jesus love wor sitting down close to Jesus. 24 So Simon Peter throw sign with his head and tell him say: “Tell us who he talking about.” 25 So the disciple lay back on Jesus chest and ask: “Lord, da who?” 26 Jesus say: “Da the person who I will give the bread da I put in the soup.” So after he put the bread in the soup, he give it to Judas, Simon Is·car′i·ot son. 27 After Judas take the piece of bread, Satan started controlling him. So Jesus tell him say: “Anything you doing, do it quick-quick.” 28 But all of them da wor sitting down around the table never knew why Jesus tell him da one. 29 In fact, some of them wor thinking da because Judas wor keeping the money box, Jesus wor telling him say, “Go buy what we need for the festival,” or da he mon give something to the poor people. 30 So after he take the bread, he went outside quick-quick. Da time it wor in the night.
31 So when he went outside, Jesus say: “Now they giving honor to the Son of man, and they also giving honor to God because of the son. 32 Da God hisself will give him honor, and he will give him honor right away. 33 My friends,* I will be with yor for short time. After da yor will look for me. The same thing I tell the Jews, da it I telling yor now, ‘The place I going yor can’t come there. 34 I giving yor new commandment to love each other. Just how I love yor, da how yor mon love each other. 35 Da this one will make everybody to know da yor my disciples, if yor get love for each other.
36 Simon Peter ask him: “Lord, where place you going?” Jesus tell him say: “You can’t follow me to the place I going now, but you will come later on.” 37 Peter ask him: “Lord, why I can’t follow you now? I ready to die for you.” 38 Jesus tell him say: “You ready to die for me? To tell you the truth, no rooster will crow until you deny me three times.”
