The Thing Dem Da John Write
4 Jesus got to know da the Pharisee dem na hear da he wor making plenty disciples and baptizing them more than John. 2 (Da not Jesus hisself wor baptizing the people but da his disciple dem.) 3 So he left from Ju·de′a and went to Gal′i·lee again. 4 But he wor suppose to pass through Sa·mar′i·a. 5 So he came to one city in Sa·mar′i·a they call Sy′char, da near the land Jacob give his son Joseph. 6 In fact, Jacob wor having one well there. Jesus wor sitting down near the well because he wor tire from the trip. It wor around 12 o’clock in the afternoon.
7 One woman from Sa·mar′i·a came to draw water. Jesus tell her say: “Give me water to drink.” 8 (Da time his disciple dem went to buy food in the city.) 9 So the Sa·mar′i·tan woman ask him: “Even though you Jew, how come you asking me to give you water when you know I Sa·mar′i·tan woman?” (Because the Jews wor not friendly with the Sa·mar′i·tan people.) 10 Then Jesus tell her say: “If you wor coming know the free gift from God and the person who telling you say, ‘Give me water to drink,’ you wor coming to ask him, and he wor coming give you water da can give life.” 11 She tell him say: “You not even get draw bucket, and the well deep. So where place you will take this water from da can give people life? 12 You not able to do more than what our great grandpa Jacob na do. He give us the well and he, his children dem and his animal dem use to drink from it. You able to do more than da one?” 13 Jesus tell her say: “Anybody da drink this water will get thirsty again. 14 But anybody who drink the water I will give him will never get thirsty again. But the water I will give him will be just like water da coming from underground* da will give him everlasting life.” 15 The woman tell him say: “Give me the water you talking about so da I can’t get thirsty again and so da I can’t continue coming here to draw water.”
16 He tell her say: “Go call your husband and come here.” 17 The woman tell him say: “I not get husband.” Jesus tell her say: “You talk the truth when you say, ‘I not get husband.’ 18 Because you na marry five men, and the man who you living with now-now, he not your husband. So you talk the truth.” 19 The woman tell him say: “I can see da you prophet. 20 Our great grandpa dem use to worship on this mountain, but yor say da only in Jerusalem people mon worship.” 21 Jesus tell her say: “Believe me, time coming when nobody will worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. 22 Yor can worship what yor not know, but for us we can worship what we know, because the Jews da the first people who know wetin God will do to save people. 23 But the time coming, and it start now-now, when the people who worshipping God the right way will worship the Father with spirit and truth, because, da the kindna people God looking for to worship him. 24 God da Spirit, and anybody who worshipping him mon worship him with spirit and truth.” 25 The woman tell him say: “I know da the Mes·si′ah coming, the one they call Christ. Anytime he come, he will make everything clear to us.” 26 Jesus tell her say: “Da me, the person who talking to you.”
27 Then his disciple dem came, and they wor surprise because he wor talking with woman. But none of them say: “Wetin you want?” or “Why you talking with her?” 28 So the woman left her water jar there and went to the city and tell people about what happen: 29 “Yor come see one man who tell me all the thing dem I na do. Yor not think he the Christ?” 30 They left the city and started coming to see him.
31 But before the people reach, the disciple dem wor telling him: “Rabbi, eat.” 32 But he tell them say: “I get food to eat da yor not know about.” 33 Then the disciple dem started asking each other: “You think somebody bring him something to eat already?” 34 Jesus tell them say: “My food da for me to do the thing dem my Father who send me want and to finish his work. 35 Ehn yor say it remain four months for people to start harvesting? See! I tell yor: Yor look at the farm dem, they ready for people to start harvesting. 36 The person who can harvest getting their pay and bringing fruit together for everlasting life, so da the person who plant and the person who harvest can be happy together. 37 So the thing they say da true: One person can plant and the other person can harvest. 38 I send yor to harvest what yor not work for. Other people na work, and yor na come to benefit from their work.”
39 Plenty of the Sa·mar′i·tan people who came from da city put faith in him because of the thing dem the woman say about him, she say: “He tell me all the thing dem I na do.” 40 So when the Sa·mar′i·tan people came to Jesus, they tell him to stay with them, and he stay there for two days. 41 For da reason, plenty people believe him because of the thing dem he say. 42 And they tell the woman say: “We not believe him just because of the thing dem you tell us, but we ourself na hear it, and we know da this man will save the world.”
43 After he stay there for two days, he left from there and went to Gal′i·lee. 44 But Jesus hisself say da they can respect prophet everywhere beside in his own home town. 45 So when he reach Gal′i·lee, the people in Gal′i·lee welcome him, because they na see all the thing dem he do to the festival in Jerusalem. The people dem theirself wor to the festival.
46 Then he came again to Ca′na da in Gal′i·lee, the place where he turn the water to wine. One man wor working for the king in Ca·per′na·um, and his son wor sick. 47 When the man hear da Jesus na leave from Ju·de′a and he wor in Gal′i·lee, he went to him and ask him to come and heal his son, because small more his son wor coming die. 48 But Jesus tell him say: “If yor not see miracle and wonderful thing dem happening, yor will never believe.” 49 Then the man who wor working for the king tell him say: “Lord, come with me before my son die.” 50 Jesus tell him say: “Go back home, your son na get well.” The man believe what Jesus say, and he went back home. 51 But when he wor going back home, his slave dem meet him on the road and tell him say yor son na get well. 52 So he ask them what time his son got well. They tell him say: “He got well around 1 o’clock yesterday.” 53 Then the boy pa remember da, it wor the same hour Jesus tell him say: “Your son na get well.” So he and his whole family believe in Jesus. 54 Da wor the second miracle Jesus perform when he came from Ju·de′a and went to Gal′i·lee.
