The First Letter Paul Write to Timothy

5 Don’t just talk any kindna way to old man.* But you mon treat him like your pa, and you mon treat young men dem like your own brothers. 2 You mon also treat old women dem* like your ma, and you mon treat young women dem like your own sisters. You mon get deep respect for them.

3 You mon take care of the women dem who husbands na die and they not get anybody to help them. 4 But if any woman who husband na die get children or grandchildren, they mon learn how to do the thing God want first by taking care of their family. And they mon give their ma and pa, and their grandma and grandpa what they suppose to give them. And this one can make God happy. 5 So the woman who husband na die and she not get anything and she really need help, na put her hope in God. She continue to pray and beg God with her whole heart day and night. 6 But the woman who can only think about satisfying her feelings to do man business, na die even though she still living. 7 So continue to direct them to do this thing dem, so da people can’t get reason to say bad thing about them. 8 To talk the truth, if anybody not take care of his own family and especially the people who living in his own house, he na turn his back on the thing dem we believe. And he worse than the people who not believe in God.

9 Any woman who husband na die mon be 60 years old or more before they can put her name on the list to get help, and she mon be someone who wor faithful* to her husband. 10 Let people know her to be someone who can do good-good thing dem, like she na train her children good-good, she na welcome people, she na wash the brother dem* foot, she na help people who suffering, and she na put her whole heart in any good work she doing.

11 But you mon not put the young women dem who husbands na die on the list. And da because when their feelings to do man business come between they and their service to Christ, they will want get marry again. 12 And they will bring judgment on theirself because they na break the promise they made before. 13 Beside this one, they also get the habit to be going around from house to house doing nothing. To talk the truth, they not only less busy but they can gossip and put their mouth in other people business. And they can talk about thing dem they not suppose to talk about. 14 So I want the young women dem who husbands na die to get marry again, to born children, and to take care of their family good-good. I want them to do this one so da they can’t give anybody who against us the chance to talk bad about us. 15 In fact, some of them na leave the truth to follow Satan. 16 If any woman who serving God get family member dem who their husband dem na die, let her help them so da the heavy load can’t be on the congregation. Then the congregation can help the women dem who husbands na die and they not get anybody to help them.

17 Yor mon give deep respect to the elder dem who can direct the congregation in the way da alright. And yor mon give them deep respect for working hard and talking about God Word and teaching other people. 18 Because the scripture say, “You mon not cover the cow mouth when it mashing the wheat to move the dirt.” The scripture also say, “The person who can work suppose to get their pay.” 19 If one person say something against the elder, you mon not accept it. But if two or three people say the same thing da happen and they able to prove it, then you mon accept it. 20 The people dem who continue to sin, you mon correct them in front of everybody so da it can be warning for the other people. 21 I giving you this serious command in front of God and Jesus Christ and the holy angel dem for you to follow this direction I na give you. You mon not make any decision before you get the truth, and you mon not pick and choose.

22 Don’t be quick to appoint* any man. Also, you mon not be part of other people sin. You mon continue to live clean life.

23 You mon not only drink water, but also you mon drink small wine because of your stomach and because you can get sick quick-quick.

24 Everybody can know about some people dem sin, and this one can make them to get judgment quick-quick. But other people sin can come out later on. 25 Da the same way everybody can know about the good work da some people can do, and the good work da people not know, people will get to know about it later on.
