6 After this, Jesus cross the Sea of Gal′i·lee da they can also call the Sea of Ti·be′ri·as. 2 And plenty people continue to follow him, because they wor seeing all the miracle dem he wor performing by healing the sick people. 3 So Jesus went on the mountain and sit down there with his disciple dem. 4 Da time, the Jews festival they call the Passover wor near. 5 When Jesus look and saw the plenty people coming to him, he ask Philip: “Where place we will buy bread for all this people to eat?” 6 But he wor saying this one to test him because he knew what he wor coming do. 7 Philip tell him say: “Even if we buy 200 de·nar′i·i* bread and give small piece to each person, it will still not be enough.” 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, who wor Simon Peter brother, tell him say: 9 “One small boy here get five bread* and two small-small fish. But wetin this one will do for this plenty people?”

10 Jesus say: “Tell the people to sit down.” Plenty grass wor in da area, and the men dem sit down. They wor around 5,000 men. 11 Jesus take the bread, and after praying, he give it to the people who wor sitting down there. And he do the same thing with the fish, and all of them eat and they wor satisfy. 12 But when all of them finish eating and they wor satisfy, he tell the disciple dem say: “Yor collect the one dem da leave over so we can’t waste anything.” 13 So they collect the one dem da leave over from all the people who eat the five bread, and it full up 12 basket.

14 When the people saw the miracle he perform, they wor saying: “For true-true da the Prophet here who suppose to come in the world.” 15 Then when Jesus knew da they wor coming catch him to make him king, he left from there and went on the mountain again to be by hisself.

16 When it wor in the evening, his disciple dem went to the sea, 17 and they get in one boat. They started going to Ca·per′na·um on the other side of the sea. By this time it wor already dark, and Jesus not come to them yet. 18 And the sea wor getting rough because heavy breeze wor blowing. 19 But after they travel in the boat for three to four miles,* they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they wor scare. 20 But he tell them say: “Da me, yor mon not be scare!” 21 Then they allow him to get in the boat, and it not stay long, they reach on land to the place they wor going.

22 The next day the people who stay on the other side of the sea saw da only one small boat wor there. And they knew da Jesus never got in the boat with his disciples when they wor going, but his disciple dem left by theirself. 23 Some boats came from Ti·be′ri·as, and reach near the place where they eat the bread after Jesus finish praying. 24 So when the people not see Jesus and his disciple dem there, they got in their boats and came to Ca·per′na·um to look for Jesus.

25 When they saw Jesus on the other side of the sea, they ask him: “Rabbi, what time you reach here?” 26 Jesus tell them say: “To tell yor the truth, yor not looking for me because of the miracle dem I perform, but yor looking for me because yor eat the bread and yor wor satisfy. 27 Yor mon not work for food da can spoil, but work for food da will never spoil and will give everlasting life. And da the Son of man will give it to yor because the Father, God hisself, na show da he really happy with him.”

28 So they ask him: “Wetin we mon do for God to be happy with us?” 29 Then Jesus tell them say: “For God to be happy with yor, yor mon put faith in the person who he send.” 30 Then they tell him say: “What kindna miracle you will perform, so da we can see it and believe you? What kindna work you doing? 31 Our great grandpa dem eat manna in the wilderness, just how the scripture say: ‘He give them bread from heaven to eat.’” 32 Then Jesus tell them say: “To tell yor the truth, Moses not give yor the true bread from heaven, but da my Father give yor the true bread from heaven. 33 Because the bread da come from God da the person who come down from heaven and give life to the world.” 34 So they tell him say: “Lord, you mon give us this bread all the time.”

35 Jesus tell them say: “Da me the bread da can give everlasting life. Anybody who follow me will not get hungry again, and anybody who show faith in me will never get thirsty again. 36 But I tell yor say, yor na see me but still yor not believe me. 37 All the people the Father give me will follow me, and I will never drive anybody who follow me. 38 Da because I not come down from heaven to do my own thing, but I come to do the will of the person who send me. 39 The person who send me not want me to lose any of the people he na give to me, but he want me to bring them back to life in the future.* 40 My Father want anybody who accept the Son and show faith in him to get everlasting life, and I will bring da person back to life in the last day.”

41 Then the Jews started complaining about him because he say: “I the bread da come down from heaven.” 42 And they started saying: “Ehn da Joseph son Jesus here, ehn we know his ma and his pa? How come he say, ‘I come from heaven’?” 43 Then Jesus tell them say: “Yor stop complaining among yourself. 44 Nobody can come to me except the Father, who send me, bring him to me, and I will bring him back to life in the last day. 45 The prophet dem write: ‘Jehovah* will teach all of them.’ Anybody who listen to the thing dem my Father teach and accept it will follow me. 46 Nobody na see the Father, but only the person who come from the Father na see him. 47 To tell yor the truth, anybody who believe will get everlasting life.

48 “Da me the bread da can give life. 49 Yor great grandpa dem eat the manna in the wilderness and still they die. 50 But anybody who eat this true bread da come from heaven, da person will not die. 51 I the living bread da come from heaven. If anybody eat this bread he will live forever. In fact, the bread da my flesh da I will give for people on earth so da they can get life.”

52 Then the Jews started arguing with each other, and they say: “Why this man mon say he will give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus tell them say: “To tell yor the truth, yor will not get life* except yor eat the Son of man flesh and drink his blood. 54 Anybody who eat my flesh and drink my blood will get everlasting life, and I will bring him back to life in the last day. 55 Because my flesh da real food and my blood da real drink. 56 Anybody who eat my flesh and drink my blood he and myself will continue to be one. 57 Just how I living because the Father who send me living, da the same way the person who will eat my flesh will also live because of me. 58 This bread da the one da come from heaven. It not looking like the one your great grandpa dem eat and still they die. Anybody da eat this bread will live forever.” 59 He say this thing dem when he wor teaching in the synagogue in Ca·per′na·um.

60 When they hear this one, plenty of his disciple dem say: “It hard to accept the thing dem he say, so who can listen to it?” 61 But Jesus knew da his disciple dem wor complaining among theirself, so he tell them say: “It hard to accept the thing dem I say? 62 Then yor not think it will be hard for yor to accept it if yor see the Son of man going back to the place he wor eh before? 63 Da the spirit can give life, people* can’t get it by theirself. The thing dem I na tell yor, it in line with the spirit and it can give life. 64 But some of yor here not get faith.” Because from the beginning Jesus knew the people who wor not having faith and the person who will betray him. 65 He continue to say: “Da the reason why I tell yor say, nobody can follow me except the Father allow him.”

66 Because of this one, plenty of his disciple dem stop following him and went back to the thing dem they left behind. 67 So Jesus ask the 12 apostles: “Yor want stop following me too?” 68 Simon Peter tell him say: “Lord, who we will follow? You can teach thing dem da can give everlasting life. 69 We na believe and we know da you God Holy One.” 70 Jesus tell them say: “Da me choose all twelve of yor, ehn da true? But still one of yor can lie bad way.”* 71 In fact, he wor talking about Judas, Simon Is·car′i·ot son, because da he wor going to betray Jesus, even though he wor one of the 12 apostles.
