The Letter Paul Write to the Galatians
3 People in Ga·laʹtia who not get sense! Who na fool yor? Because we help yor before to understand what it mean for Jesus to die on the stake. 2 Da one thing I want ask yor: Yor get the holy spirit because yor wor obeying the Law or because yor put faith in the thing dem yor hear? 3 Yor not get sense? From the beginning, yor wor allowing the holy spirit to direct yor, but why yor want follow human being idea now? 4 So yor go through plenty suffering for nothing? I can’t believe da it wor really for nothing. 5 So the person who give yor the holy spirit and perform miracles among yor do it because yor obey the Law, or because yor put faith in the thing dem yor hear? 6 It just like the way Abraham “put faith in Jehovah,* and made God to look at him to be righteous person.”
7 I sure yor know da the people dem who get faith, da Abraham children dem. 8 God say it in the scripture way back, da he will call people from the other nation dem righteous because of their faith. And he tell Abraham this good news ahead of time, when he say: “Because of you all the nation dem will be bless.” 9 So the people dem who get faith, getting the blessing just how Abraham wor bless because of his faith.
10 Swear on everybody who trust in obeying the Law, because it in the Scriptures: “Swear on anybody who not continue obeying the thing dem da in the book of the Law.”* 11 Also, it clear da God can’t call anybody righteous because they obeying the Law, and da because “the person who can do the right thing will live because he get faith.” 12 The Law not say somebody need to get faith. Because it in the Scriptures, “anybody who obey the Law will live because of it.” 13 Also it in the Scriptures: “Anybody they hang on the stake get swear on them.” Christ free us from the swear da the Law put on us because he take our swear and put it on hisself. And he buy us by doing this one. 14 This one happen so da through Jesus Christ the nation dem can get the blessing da God promise Abraham, and so da we can get the holy spirit God promise because of our faith.
15 My brother dem, I using example to talk to yor: When two people make agreement, nobody can change it. 16 God give the promise dem to Abraham and his son. The scripture not say, “and to your son dem,” just like they wor plenty. But it say, “and to your son,” and it talking about one person, and da person da Christ. 17 I also say this one: God make the agreement with Abraham first and after 430 years, he give the Law to his people dem, but the Law not end the agreement da God make and it not cancel the promise da God make to Abraham. 18 If the thing* God can give da because of obeying the Law, then it not because of promise again. But because God good, he give it to Abraham through one promise.
19 So why the Law there? The Law there to show the bad-bad thing dem da people can do until the son da God promise can come. God use the angel dem to give the Law to Moses, then Moses give it to the people dem. 20 Da God alone make the promise. So long da one person making the promise, you not need somebody* to help the person to make the promise. 21 So you think the Law against the promise dem God made? Da one will never happen! Because if people receive law da can give life, then God will say they righteous because they obey the Law. 22 The Scripture put everything under the control of sin, so da the people dem who get faith can get the promise da the people who get faith in Jesus Christ will get.
23 But before the faith came, da law wor directing us. And we wor under the control of the Law and we wor waiting for the faith da God wor coming show us. 24 So the Law wor just like somebody da wor protecting* us and carrying us to Christ, so da God can say we righteous because of faith. 25 But because the faith na come, we not need the Law to protect us again.
26 In fact, all of yor, yor God children because yor get faith in Jesus Christ. 27 But all of yor who get baptize and united with Christ now, yor na follow* Christ example. 28 Everybody united with Jesus Christ. Whether you Jew or Greek, slave or free person, whether you man or woman. 29 Also, if yor for Christ, then yor really Abraham children, the people who will get the thing da God promise.
