Acts (The Things the Apostle Dem Do)
18 After this he left from Athens and came to Corinth. 2 And Paul saw one man name Aqʹui·la. This man wor Jew and he wor born in Ponʹtus. He just came from Italy with his wife Pris·cilʹla, because Claudius give the command for all the Jews to leave Rome. So he went to them, 3 and because they use to do the same work, he stay to their house and work with them. Their work da wor to make tents. 4 On every sabbath day, he use to give talk in the synagogue and he use to convince the Jews and the Greek people to believe the thing dem he wor saying.
5 When Silas and Timothy left from Mac·e·doʹni·a and went to Corinth, Paul wor really busy preaching God Word. He preach to the Jews to prove da Jesus da the Christ. 6 But when they continue going against him and cussing him, he shake his clothes and tell them say: “Let your blood be on your own head. I clean. From now on, I will go to people from different nations.” 7 So he left from the synagogue and went to Titius Justus house. This man use to worship God, and his house wor near the synagogue. 8 But Crisʹpus, the leader for the synagogue and his whole family believe the good news, and they follow the Lord. And plenty people who hear the good news believe it and got baptize. 9 Also, in the night Paul saw one vision and the Lord tell him say: “Don’t be scare, but continue talking and don’t keep quiet, 10 because I with you and nobody will beat you and treat you bad. I get plenty people in this city.” 11 So he stay there for one year six months, and he wor teaching the people God Word.
12 When Galʹli·o wor governor* for A·chaʹia, the Jews dem came together and attack Paul and carry him to the judgment seat. 13 They say: “The way this man telling people to worship God, it against the law.” 14 But when Paul wor ready to talk, Galʹli·o tell the Jews say: “If da bad thing, or something serious against the law this man na do, I wor coming be patient and listen to yor. 15 But if da argument about what somebody say or names and your own law, your ownself mon settle it. I not want be judge for this kindna thing dem.” 16 After he say this one, he drive them from the judgment seat. 17 So they grab Sosʹthe·nes, the leader for the synagogue, and started beating him in front of the judgment seat. But Galʹli·o not put his mouth inside it.
18 But after Paul spend plenty days there, he tell the brother dem bye-bye and got in the ship and went to Syria, and Pris·cilʹla and Aqʹui·la follow him. He cut his hair in Cenʹchre·ae, because he made one promise to God. 19 So they reach to Ephʹe·sus, and he left them there. But he enter the synagogue and preach to the people by helping them to understand the Scriptures. 20 Even though they continue begging him to stay there for some time, he not agree. 21 But he say bye-bye and tell them say: “Jehovah* willing, I will come back to yor again.” And he got in the ship and left from Ephʹe·sus 22 and came down to Caes·a·reʹa. He went to Jerusalem and speak to the congregation. Then he went down to Antioch.
23 After he spend some time there, he left from there and went to different-different place dem in Ga·laʹti·a and Phrygʹi·a. And he help all the disciple dem to get strong faith.
24 One Jew name A·polʹlos who wor born in Alexandria came to Ephʹe·sus. He wor good speaker and he really knew the Scriptures good-good. 25 They teach this man about Jehovah* way, and the holy spirit make him to get zeal and, he wor talking and teaching the correct things about Jesus, but he only knew about the baptism da John use to preach about. 26 So he wor brave and he started teaching in the synagogue. After Pris·cilʹla and Aqʹui·la listen to him, they carry him to their house and explain the correct thing about God Word to him more and more. 27 Also, he wanted to cross and go to A·chaʹia, because of da the brother dem write letter to the disciple dem, and tell them to welcome him. So when he got there, he really help the people who accept the good news because of God special kindness. 28 He preach with zeal in front of everybody and he really prove da the Jews dem wor wrong, and he use the Scriptures to show da Jesus wor the Christ.
