Hannah Pray for Boy Child

One Israelite man name Elkanah wor having two wives. Their name wor Hannah and Peninnah. But he use to love Hannah more than Peninnah. Peninnah use to play fun out of Hannah all the time because Hannah wor not having children, but Peninnah wor having plenty children. Every year, Elkanah use to carry his family to the tabernacle in Shiloh to worship Jehovah. One time when they wor there, he notice da his belove wife Hannah wor really sad. So he tell her say: ‘Hannah please don’t cry. I here for you, and I love you.’

Later, Hannah go to pray by herself. She wor just crying and begging Jehovah to help her. She promise Jehovah say: ‘If you give me boy child, I will give him back to you, and he will serve you all his life.’

When the High Priest Eli saw Hannah crying, he started thinking da she wor drunk. Then Hannah tell him say: ‘No, my lord, I not drunk. I get serious problem, and I telling Jehovah about it.’ Eli get to know da Hannah wor not drunk, so he tell her say: ‘I pray da God give you what you want.’ Hannah start feeling fine and she go back home. In less than one year, she born boy child and name him Samuel. Just think about the way Hannah wor happy.

Hannah not forget her promise to Jehovah. As soon her son get big small, she carry him to serve to the tabernacle. She tell Eli say: ‘Yeh the child I pray for. I bring him so he can serve Jehovah all his life.’ Elkanah and Hannah use to visit Samuel every year. And they use to carry one new clothes for him. Jehovah give Hannah three more sons and two daughters.
