Jesus Resurrect Lazarus

Jesus wor having three friend dem da wor living in Bethany. And he wor really close to them. Da wor Lazarus and his two sisters, Mary and Martha. One day, when Jesus wor on the other side of the Jordan River, Mary and Martha send him message to go quick, because their brother Lazarus wor really sick. But Jesus not go right away. He wait for two more days to pass. Then he tell his disciple dem say: ‘Yor let go to Bethany. Lazarus sleeping, and I going there to wake up him.’ Then his apostle dem say: ‘If Lazarus sleeping, then it will help him to get well.’ So Jesus make it clear to them and say: ‘Lazarus na die.’

When they bury Lazarus, four days pass before Jesus reach Bethany. Plenty people wor there comforting Martha and Mary. When Martha hear da Jesus na come, she run to him and tell him say: “Lord, if you wor here, my brother wor not coming die.” Then Jesus tell her say: ‘Your brother will come back to life. Martha, you believe it?’ Then she say: ‘I believe da he will come back during the resurrection.’ Then Jesus tell her say: “Da me can bring people back to life and da me can give people life.”

Then Martha go to Mary and tell her say: ‘Jesus na come.’ Mary run to Jesus and the people follow her. She kneel down in front him and continue crying. She say: ‘Lord, if you wor here, our brother wor not coming die!’ Jesus see the way she wor feeling bad, and he started crying too. When the people see Jesus crying, they say: ‘He really love Lazarus o.’ But some people wor thinking: ‘Why he not save his friend?’ What you think Jesus will do?

Jesus go to the grave, and one big rock wor covering the grave mouth. Then he give order and say: ‘Yor take the rock from in front it.’ Then Martha say: ‘Lord, by now his body will be smelling because four days na pass!’ Still, they take the rock from in front it. Then Jesus pray and say: ‘Father, thank you for hearing me. I know you can always hear me. But I say this one because of the people da around me, so they can believe da you send me.’ Then Jesus shout with loud voice and say: “Lazarus, come outside!” Something happen da wor really wonderful! Lazarus come outside from the grave. But the cloth wor still wrap around him. Then Jesus say: “Yor loosen the cloth from on him and let him go.”

Plenty people who see this miracle, put faith in Jesus. But some of them go and tell the Pharisee dem. From da time, the Pharisee dem wanted to kill Lazarus and Jesus. One of Jesus 12 apostles they call Judas Iscariot, hide hisself and go to the Pharisee dem and ask them: ‘How much yor will pay me if I help yor to find Jesus?’ They agree to give him 30 pieces of silver, and Judas started looking for ways to turn Jesus over to the Pharisee dem.
