STUDY 20

The Right Way to End Your Talk

WETIN YOU MUST DO: When you ending your talk, try to encourage the people to do what they finish learning.

HOW TO DO IT:

  • The end of your talk must go in line with your topic. Go over the main points and the title for your talk.

  • Help the people do what they learn. Show them what to do, and give them good reasons for doing so. The way you talk must show that you really believe what you saying and that it important.

  • The end of your talk must be simple and short. Don’t bring new main points inside. Encourage the people to practice what they learn but don’t make it long.

    Practical tip

    You must not rush to end your talk, and your voice must not just go down until nobody can’t hear you. When you ending your talk, the people must know that it coming finish.

FOR FIELD SERVICE

When you finishing with what you telling the person, go over the main points you want him to remember. If he not want continue talking with you or he acting rude, you must still treat him good. When you act like that, maybe it will make the person to listen next time.
