Understand How People Feel

Principle: “Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.”—Rom. 12:15.

1. Watch the VIDEO, or read Mark 6:​30-34. Then answer this question them:

  1. Why Jesus and his apostle them really wanted ‘to be by their self’?

  2. Wetin make Jesus to teach the people?

2. When we understand people feeling, we will not only want preach to them, but we will also show that we care for them.

Follow Jesus Example

3. Listen good-good. Give the person chance to talk what in their heart. Don’t cut the person off or ignore them when they talking about how they feel or when they not agree with what you say. When you listen to them good-good, it will show that you care about how they feel.

4. Think about the person who show interest. Base on what yor talk about, ask yourself this question them:

  1. ‘Why he need to hear the truth?’

  2. ‘How studying the Bible will make his life better now-now and in the future?’

5. Talk about thing them that will help the person. Don’t let it take long time to show the person how studying the Bible can answer their questions and help them in their everyday life.
