Jehovah Will Never Leave Us

WHEN we going through problem, sometime we can feel like we in one big forest and nobody there to help us. But we get somebody to help us. Our loving Father in heaven can see the problem dem we going through and he promise to help us go through them. Jehovah made this promise to his faithful servant dem: “I will help you.”—Isa. 41:10.

² This article will help us to see how Jehovah can (1) guide us, (2) provide for us, (3) protect us, and (4) comfort us. Jehovah promise us that no matter what kindna problem we face in life, he will never forget about us and he will never leave us. So, we will never be by ourself.

JEHOVAH CAN GUIDE US

3-4. How Jehovah can guide us? (Psalm 48:14)

³ Read Psalm 48:14. Jehovah know that we not able to guide ourself. So how he can guide his faithful servant dem today? One way that through the Bible. (Ps. 119:105) He can use the Bible to help us make decisions and get good-good quality dem that can make us happy now-now and get everlasting life in the future.a For example, he teaching us to not keep grudge, to be fair in everything, and to love people from our heart. (Ps. 37:8; Heb. 13:18; 1 Pet. 1:22) When we show this quality dem in our life, it will help us to be good parents, good husband or wife, and good friend.

⁴ Beside that, Jehovah talk about real people in the Bible who face problems like us and use to feel the same way like us. (1 Cor. 10:13; Jas. 5:17) When we read this true-life story dem and do the thing dem we learn, it can benefit us in two ways. (1) We can know that we not by ourself and other people na face the same problem and they wor able to bear it. (1 Pet. 5:9) (2) We can learn how to bear our problems.—Rom. 15:4.

5. Who them Jehovah can use to guide us?

⁵ Jehovah can also use our brother and sister dem to guide us.b For example, the circuit overseers can always visit our congregation dem to encourage us. Their talks can make our faith strong and help us to continue to be united. (Acts 15:40–16:5) The elder dem too can show real interest in each publisher. (1 Pet. 5:​2, 3) Parents can teach their children to love Jehovah, to make good decisions and get good behavior. (Prov. 22:6) And the mature sister dem can help the young sisters by setting good example, giving good-good advice, and encouragement.—Titus 2:​3-5.

6. Wetin we must do to benefit from Jehovah advice?

⁶ Jehovah na play his part by giving us the thing dem we need to guide us. How we can show that we grateful for the thing dem he na do for us? Proverbs 3:​5, 6 say: “Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.” When we do it, “he will make [our] paths straight.” That mean he will help us to enjoy our life and avoid plenty problems. Ehn we happy that Jehovah can give us the advice that each of us need?—Ps. 32:8.

JEHOVAH CAN PROVIDE FOR US

7. What some ways Jehovah can provide for us? (Philippians 4:19)

⁷ Read Philippians 4:19. Beside guiding us, Jehovah can bless our efforts to get food, clothes, and place to live. (Matt. 6:33; 2 Thess. 3:12) Even though it normal to think about the thing dem we need, Jehovah encourage us to not worry too much about them. (See study note on Matthew 6:25.) Why? Because our Father will never leave his faithful servant dem when they going through problem. (Matt. 6:8; Heb. 13:5) We can trust him that he will provide for us.

8. Wetin Jehovah do for David?

⁸ Think about how Jehovah help David. When David wor running away from Saul, Jehovah help he and his men dem to get the thing dem they need to survive. When he think about the way Jehovah help him throughout his life, David say: “I was once young and now I am old, but I have not seen anyone righteous abandoned, nor his children looking for bread.” (Ps. 37:25) Throughout your life, maybe you na see how Jehovah been providing for his faithfull servant dem.

9. Today, how Jehovah can provide for his people when bad thing happen? (Also see the pictures.)

⁹ Jehovah can also provide for his people when bad thing happen. For example, when food business wor hard during the apostle dem time, Christians from different-different areas send food and other thing dem to their brothers and sisters who wor in need. (Acts 11:​27-30; Rom. 15:​25, 26) That the same thing Jehovah people can do today. When bad thing happen somewhere, Jehovah can use his people to provide thing dem like food, water, clothes, and medicine to the people who living in that area. Construction teams can go there to fix people house and the Kingdom Hall dem that spoil. And Jehovah people can be quick to comfort and encourage those who people die from or who house spoil.c

10-11. Wetin you learn from Borys experience?

¹⁰ Jehovah can even provide for people who not serving him. That the same way we must be kind to people who not Jehovah Witness. (Gal. 6:10) Most of the time, this one can make people to want learn about Jehovah. Let talk about the experience of one school principal name Borys who living in Ukraine. Even though Borys not Jehovah Witness, he always use to be kind to his Jehovah Witness student dem and respect their beliefs. When Borys decide to run away from his village because of the war and go to different part of the country that wor safe, our brother dem help him. Later on, Borys attend the Memorial. When he think on what the brother dem do for him, he say: “The Jehovah Witness people wor really good to me and they take care of me. I want tell them thank you plenty.”

¹¹ We ourself too can be like our merciful Father Jehovah by showing love to people who need help, whether they Jehovah Witness or not. (Luke 6:​31, 36) We hope that the love we show to them will help them to be Jesus disciples. (1 Pet. 2:12) Even if they not do it, we will still enjoy the happiness that can come from giving.—Acts 20:35.

JEHOVAH CAN PROTECT US

12. Wetin Jehovah promise to do for all his people? (Psalm 91:​1, 2, 14)

¹² Read Psalm 91:​1, 2, 14. Today, Jehovah promise to protect his people from anything that can spoil their friendship with him. He will never allow Satan to stop people from worshipping him the right way. (John 17:15) And during “the great tribulation,” we can be sure that Jehovah will fulfill his promise to protect his people and help them to continue to get strong faith.—Rev. 7:​9, 14.

13. How Jehovah can protect all of us one by one?

¹³ How Jehovah can protect all of us one by one? He can use the Bible to help us know right from wrong. (Heb. 5:14) When we do the thing dem the Bible say, it can protect our friendship with Jehovah. It can also help us to make good decision that can make us happy and be alright in our body. (Ps. 91:4) Jehovah can also use our brother and sister dem to protect us. (Isa. 32:​1, 2) Our brother and sister dem love Jehovah. So when we spend time with them, they can help us to avoid bad things.—Prov. 13:20.

¹⁴ That true, sometime Jehovah use to protect his people way back from thing dem that wor coming hurt them or kill them. But he not always use to do it. Sometime, some thing dem we not expecting can happen to us. (Eccl. 9:11) Also, Jehovah na allow some of his servant dem to go through persecution and even die to prove that Satan that liar. (Job 2:​4-6; Matt. 23:34) That the same way today. Even though Jehovah will not stop bad things from happening to us some time, we can be sure that he will never leave the people who love him.d—Ps. 9:10.

JEHOVAH CAN COMFORT US

15. How prayer, the Bible, and our brother and sister dem can comfort us? (2 Corinthians 1:​3, 4)

¹⁵ Read 2 Corinthians 1:​3, 4. Sometime, we can feel bad or worry too much. Maybe you going through certain problem now-now that making you to feel that you by yourself. But you think anybody know what you going through? Yes, Jehovah know. He can’t only feel our pain but he can also “comfort us in all our trials.” How he can do it? When we beg Jehovah to help us, he can give us “the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.” (Phil. 4:​6, 7) We can also get comfort when we read the thing dem he tell us in the Bible. In the Bible, he teach us how he really love us, how to be wise, and give us hope that can make our heart to lay down. When we go to meeting, the encouragement we can get from the Bible and our brother and sister dem can comfort us.

16. Wetin you learn from Nathan and Priscilla experience?

¹⁶ To see how Jehovah can use the Bible to comfort and encourage us, let look at Nathan and Priscilla experience. They living in America. Some years back, they decide to move to one area where they need more people to preach. Nathan say, “We wor convince that Jehovah wor coming bless our efforts.” But after they reach to their new assignment, money business get hard on them and they start facing all kindna health problems that they wor not expecting. He and his wife decide to go back home, but money business wor still hard on them. Nathan say, “I wonder why God not bless us the way we wor expecting it. I even start thinking whether I na do bad thing.” But after some time, Nathan and Priscilla get to know that God not turn his back on them when they wor facing problem. Nathan say, “When we wor going through this problem dem, the Bible wor looking just like good friend that wor encouraging us and guiding us. We focus on how Jehovah help us to bear the problem instead of focusing on the problem. It help us to be prepare for any other problem in the future.”

17. How one sister name Helga get comfort? (Also see the picture.)

¹⁷ Our brother and sister dem can also comfort us. How they can do it? Let look at the example of one sister name Helga, who living in Hungary. For plenty years, she been facing different-different problems that made her to worry and feel that she nothing. But when she think on all the thing dem that happen, she can see how Jehovah been using the brother and sister dem to comfort her. She say: “When Jehovah see my strength going down because of my work, taking care of my child who wor sick, or other problem dem, he always use to help me. For the last 30 years, one day not pass seh without Jehovah keeping his promise to comfort me. Most of the time, he can use other people to give me strength by saying good-good things to me and even telling me thank you. They can send me message, letter, or tell me thank you the time I really need it.”

18. How we can comfort other people?

¹⁸ We get the privilege to follow our God example by comforting other people. How we can do it? We can be patient to listen to them, encourage them, and do some small-small things for them. (Prov. 3:27) We must try to comfort everybody who going through problem, even people who not Jehovah Witness. When we see our neighbors sick, feeling bad, or worrying, we must visit them, listen to them, and tell them something from the Bible to encourage them. When we be like Jehovah, “the God of all comfort,” we will help our brother and sister dem. Also we will help people who not serving Jehovah to want learn more about him.—Matt. 5:16.

JEHOVAH WILL NEVER LEAVE US

19. Wetin Jehovah can do for us, and how we can follow his example?

¹⁹ Jehovah really care for all the people dem who love him. He can’t turn his back on us when we going through problem. Just how parent who love their children can take care of them, that the same way Jehovah can take care of his faithful servant dem. He can guide us, provide for us, protect us, and comfort us. We can follow his example when we help and encourage other people when they going through problems. Even though we will face different-different problems, we can be sure that Jehovah will never leave us. After all, he hisself say: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.” (Isa. 41:10) This one can really make our heart to lay down! Yes, for true he will never leave us.
