STUDY 13

Show How the People Can Benefit

Cited scripture

Proverbs 3:21

WETIN YOU MUST DO: Help the people understand how they can benefit from what you teaching, and show them how to apply it.

HOW TO DO IT:

  • Think about the people you talking to. Think about the reason why the people must hear the thing you teaching. Also, think about the main part of the topic that will really help them.

  • Show the people what to do throughout your talk. By the time you start your talk, everybody must see theirself inside. When you reach to any main point, show how they can apply it. Show the people the exact thing to do. Don’t just make it general.

    Practical tip

When you helping the people to see how the Bible advice can benefit them, show that you understand their feelings. When you giving counsel from the Bible, don’t make the people feel bad. Help them to get strong love and faith in Jehovah, and trust that they will do what you teaching.

FOR FIELD SERVICE

When you preparing for field service, think about something in the news or any topic in the territory that the people get interest in, and use it. When you talking to the person, ask good questions that will make them to tell you wetin in their heart or what they thinking on. After listening to the person, use what he say to preach to him.
