Hulda Reach Her Goal

IF YOU na visit the small island they call Sangir Besar in Indonesia before, then maybe you saw three of our Christian sisters on the beach. Plenty people know them for their preaching work. They always helping people to understand the Bible. But one time they were doing different type of work.

First, they go in the water, look for big-big rocks and bring them on the beach. Some of the rock them was big just like football. Then, the women them sit down on small-small bench and they use hammers to burst the rocks. They burst the rock them until they were small pass chicken egg. From there, they put the small- small rocks in rubber buckets and carry them upstairs to the place they were living. After that one, they put the rock them in big-big bags so they can put them in trucks and carry them to fix roads.

One of this sister them name Hulda. Her condition allow her to spend more time doing this work more than the other sister them. She can always use the money she get from bursting rocks to take care of her family. But this time around, she wanted to use the money for different thing. She wanted to buy tablet so she can be able to use JW Library^®. Hulda knew that the videos and other thing them in the library will help her to preach to people. And it will also help her to study and understand the Bible good-good.

Hulda use to work every day to burst rock. But she work for extra two hours every morning for one month and the half to burst enough rocks that fill one small truck. So she was having enough money now to buy the tablet.

Hulda say: “Even though I was feeling tire and my body was hurting because of the bursting rock, when I started using my new tablet, I was quick to forget about all the pain and tiredness. This tablet help me to do my preaching work good-good and it make it easy to prepare for the meeting.” She also say the tablet help her during the corona virus time to join the brother and sister them for meetings and field service. We and Hulda happy that she reach her goal.
