MAA WOLI WƆLƆ ZƐVƐI 14
GUI 8 Jehovah Protecting Us
“A Yii-Ma Ziɣi . . . Zɔi Wa Feli”
“Kɛ na dɛɛ, ga na numaitiɛ ga Jehova ʋeli.”—JOSH. 24:15.
WHAT THE MAIN POINT?
To remind ourself about the reasons why we decide to serve Jehovah.
1. Zɛɓɛi maa nɛɛ de kɛ ga de kuuzu nɛɛ ɓɔɔɓɔɔ maa zɔlɔwo, tɔwɔ zɛɓɛ ʋaa ma? (Isaiah 48:17, 18)
OUR Father Jehovah really love us, and he want us to enjoy life now-now and in the future. (Eccl. 3:12, 13) He made us to be able to do some good-good thing dem. But he not make us to rule ourself or to decide for ourself what right and what wrong. (Eccl. 8:9; Jer. 10:23) He know that for us to really be happy, we must serve him and live by his laws.—Read Isaiah 48:17, 18.
2. Zɛɓɛi Seeta wõini de laala na ɣa ɣɛɛna zɛɓɛi Jehova kɛɛ e vile zɛɛ ʋai nii va?
2 Satan want us to believe that we can be happy without Jehovah, and human being able to rule theirself without any problem. (Gen. 3:4, 5) To prove that Satan that liar, Jehovah na allow human being to rule theirself for some time. And all of us can see that human being not able to rule theirself. But the Bible get plenty examples of some men and women dem who serve Jehovah and wor happy. The main person among them that Jesus Christ. First, let see some reasons why he decide to serve Jehovah. Also, we will see why we must only worship our Father in heaven. Then we will go over some reasons why we decide to serve Jehovah.
ZƐƁƐI E KƐƐ ZIIZƐ DAA ƔISU GA E JEHOVA ƲELI
3. Zɛɓɛi Dɛvelei ɣɛni wõini e fe Ziizɛ ya, tɔwɔ zɛɓɛi Ziizɛ kɛɛni?
3 When Jesus wor on earth, he always show that he will stick to his decision to serve Jehovah. For example, right after Jesus get baptize, Satan promise to give him all the kingdoms in the world if Jesus just worship him one time. But Jesus tell him say: “Move from here, Satan! Because it in the Scriptures: ‘That Jehovah your God you must worship, and that only him you must serve.’” (Matt. 4:8-10) Why Jesus make that decision? Let see some reasons.
4-5. Zaɓui taniga ta ga zɛɓɛ e kɛɛ Ziizɛ daani ɣisu ga e Jehova ʋeli?
4 The main reason why Jesus decide to serve Jehovah that because he get deep love for his Father. (John 14:31) Beside that, Jesus serving Jehovah because that the right thing to do. (John 8:28, 29; Rev. 4:11) He know that Jehovah gave us life, he gave us plenty good-good things and we can trust Him. (Ps. 33:4; 36:9; Jas. 1:17) Jehovah always been telling Jesus the truth, and everything that Jesus get, that Jehovah give it to him. (John 1:14) But Satan not looking like that. That he the one make it human being can sin and die. He greedy, selfish and he can lie bad way. (John 8:44) Jesus know all this one dem, so he never even think about going against Jehovah like Satan.—Phil. 2:5-8.
5 Another reason why Jesus decide to serve Jehovah that because of the plenty good-good thing dem that wor coming happen when he remain faithful. (Heb. 12:2) He knew that if he remain faithful, it will clear all the lie-lie things people can say about his Pa and move all the suffering that the Devil cause.
ZƐBƐI E KƐƐ JEHOVA NƆ ƔA MAA NƐƐ DE FELI
6-7. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ zaa nu lamaa tɛ lɛ Jehova ʋelizu, kɛ zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ maa nɛɛ de feli?
6 Plenty people today not serving Jehovah because they not know the good ways he get, and they not even know all the good-good things he na do for them. That the same way the people who the apostle Paul preach to in Athens wor looking.—Acts 17:19, 20, 30, 34.
7 Paul explain to them that the true God “gives to all people life and breath and all things.” He also say: “By him we have life and move and exist.” God that the Creator who “made out of one man every nation of men,” so we suppose to worship him.—Acts 17:25, 26, 28.
8. Zɛɓɛi Jehova lɛ wɔlɔ-wɔlɔ kɛɛ?
8 Because Jehovah that the Creator and he get the right to rule, he able to force people to serve him. But he will never do that one. He want us to decide for ourself whether we will serve him or not. So he show us proof that he real person and that he really love all of us one by one. If it possible, he want for plenty people to be his friends forever. (1 Tim. 2:3, 4) That the reason why Jehovah na train us to teach other people about the thing dem he get in mind, and to tell them about the good-good thing dem he will do for human being. (Matt. 10:11-13; 28:19, 20) He na give us different-different congregations where we can get help from our loving elder dem.—Acts 20:28.
9. Zɛɓɛi e dɛɛzu ga wõila ɣa Jehova ya nu ɓuse ʋaa ma?
9 We can see proof that Jehovah really get love from the way he can treat people who believe that he not real person. Think about this: For plenty years now, plenty people na decide for theirself how to live their life instead of obeying Jehovah. But Jehovah can still give them the thing dem they need to live and enjoy their life. (Matt. 5:44, 45; Acts 14:16, 17) For example, He na allow them to get friends and family who love them, to born children, to work and enjoy their life. (Ps. 127:3; Eccl. 2:24) All this one dem prove that our Father in heaven really love human being. (Ex. 34:6) So now, let remind ourself about some of the reasons why we decide to serve Jehovah and how he can bless us when we do it.
ZƐƁƐI E KƐƐ DE DAA ƔISU GA DE JEHOVA ƲELI
10. (a) Zaɓui ɣa ɓɔɔ ga zɛɓɛ e kɛɛ diɛ Jehova ʋeli? (Mafiyu 22:37) (b) E Wuloai ɣɛ le Jehova na zii-lɔi zu-nu-ma? (Psalm 103:13, 14)
10 Like Jesus, the main reason we serving Jehovah that because we get deep love for Him. (Read Matthew 22:37.) When we learn about the good-good way dem Jehovah get, it can make us to draw close to him. For example, think about the way Jehovah patient with us. Even though the Israelite dem make mistake over and over, he use to beg them and say: “Turn back, please, from your bad ways.” (Jer. 18:11) That the same way Jehovah know that we not perfect. So he always willing to forgive us when we make mistakes. (Read Psalm 103:13, 14.) When you think about his good-good quality dem and the way he patient with us, ehn it can make you to want serve him forever?
11. Zaɓui taniga ta ga zɛɓɛ e kɛɛ de deʋea ga de de kpɛtɛ Ɣalagi ʋeli?
11 We also decide to serve Jehovah because that the right thing to do. (Matt. 4:10) Beside that, we know that good-good things will happen when we remain faithful. When we remain faithful, it will help to make Jehovah name holy, prove that Satan that liar and make our Father happy. And if we decide to serve Jehovah today, we get the hope that we will continue serving him forever!—John 17:3.
12-13. Zɛɓɛi e maa wolia nii zu Jane ɓɔga Pam te leveni su?
12 When we still young, we can learn to get deep love for Jehovah, and that love can continue to get more strong when we growing up. That what happen to two sisters name Jane and Pam.a When Jane wor 11 years old and Pam wor 10 years old, they started studying the Bible. Even though their parents never wanted to study, they allow Jane and Pam to study the Bible with Jehovah Witnesses so long they continue going to church with the family every weekend. Jane say: “The thing the Jehovah Witness people teach me from the Bible, help me to avoid taking drugs, and putting my hand in boyfriend and girlfriend business like plenty of my school mate dem.”
13 After some years, two of them became publishers. Later on, they start pioneering and taking care of their old parents. Jane explain how she feel about all the thing dem Jehovah na do for them. She say: “I na see for myself that Jehovah can always take care of his friend dem. And I also learn from 2 Timothy 2:19 that ‘Jehovah know those who belong to him.’” So it clear that Jehovah can take care of the people dem who decide to love and serve him!
14. Da leve ɣɛ le de Jehova na daa-zeigi maa ɣele ga velei da yɛpɛ la e vɛɛ de luɓo-velei va? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)
14 We want help to clear Jehovah name from all the lie-lie thing dem people can say about him. Think about this example: Let say you get your close friend who kind, free handy, and can forgive. Then one day, you hear somebody saying that your friend wicked and they not honest. Wetin you will do? Ehn you will talk for your friend? That the same way, when Satan and the people he controlling talk lie-lie thing dem about Jehovah to spoil His name, we can help to clear Jehovah name by telling people the truth about Him. (Ps. 34:1; Isa. 43:10) We can show that we want serve Jehovah with our whole heart by the thing dem we can say and do.
You will help to defend Jehovah name? (See paragraph 14)b
15. Tei Pɔɔ na deʋei maa ʋeli boni e wuloni su-nu-ma ɣɛ le? (Felepaitiɛ 3:7, 8)
15 We can be willing to change some thing dem in our life so that we can make Jehovah happy or do more for him. For example, the apostle Paul wor having big position in the Jewish religion. But he leave everything behind to be Jesus disciple and serve Jehovah. (Gal. 1:14) Because of that, he wor happy and he get the opportunity to rule with Jesus Christ in heaven. He never regret his decision to serve Jehovah. And we ourself too will never regret if we serve Jehovah.—Read Philippians 3:7, 8.
16. Zɛɓɛi da maa woli Julia na po-kɔ̃ɔ-mai zu? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)
16 If we make serving Jehovah the main thing in our life, he will bless us now-now and in the future. Let look at one sister name Julia experience. Before Julia learn the truth, she use to sing in one church choir from the time she wor small. Since she really use to sing, she start getting training to be big singer. It not stay long, she get popular and she start singing to big-big place dem. She start going to one big music school. One of her classmate start talking with her about God and explain to her that God name Jehovah. After that, she start studying the Bible two time in the week. So she decide to use her time and energy to serve Jehovah instead of becoming big musician. That wor not small decision to make. She say: “Plenty people use to tell me that I wor wasting my talent. But I wanted to use my life to do more for Jehovah.” How she feel about the decision she made more than 30 years ago? She say: “I happy that I use my life to serve Jehovah, and I know that in the future, he will give me all the thing dem I want.”—Ps. 145:16.
If we make serving Jehovah the main thing in our life, we will enjoy the best life (See paragraph 16)c
ƔAA-BAA YIE JEHOVA ƲELI
17. Velei siɛgi liizu la tɔ ga faa vagɔ ɣɛ le Jehova ʋeli veaitiɛ vɛ, tɔwɔ e ga faa yowũ niitiɛ vɛ tɛlɛ felizu?
17 This world will soon end. That why the apostle Paul say: “For yet ‘a very little while,’ and ‘the one who is coming will arrive and will not delay.’” (Heb. 10:37) So, what this one mean? For people who not serving God yet, that just short time remain now for them to decide to serve Jehovah. (1 Cor. 7:29) And if we already serving God, we know that we will face different-different problem, but it will only be for short time.
18. Zɛɓɛi Ziizɛ ɓɔga Jehova te wõini ga diɛ kɛ?
18 Jesus encourage his disciple dem to not just follow him but to continue following him. (Matt. 16:24) So if we been serving Jehovah for plenty years now, let try hard to not give up. We must work hard to continue sticking to our decision to serve him. Sometime, it will not be easy. But we will be happy and enjoy plenty blessings now-now if we continue serving him!—Ps. 35:27.
19. Zɛɓɛi da maa woli Gene na po-kɔ̃ɔ-mai zu?
19 Some people can feel that when they serve Jehovah they will not enjoy their life. If you young, you can feel that you will not be able to enjoy your life if you serve Jehovah? One young brother name Gene say: “I wor feeling that I will not enjoy my life because I Jehovah Witness. It wor looking like some of my friend dem I grow up with wor enjoying their life. They use to put their hand in boyfriend and girlfriend business, go to party or play bad-bad video games, while I wor just using all my time in meetings and field service.” How this kindna thinking affect Gene? He say: “I start living double life. And for short time, I enjoy myself. But I wor not really feeling happy. So I start thinking about the benefit that can come when you do what the Bible say, and I decide to serve Jehovah with my whole heart. Since that time, Jehovah being answering all my prayers.”
20. Zɛɓɛi maa nɛɛ de ɣaa-ɓaa ga diɛ kɛ?
20 One psalmist sing to Jehovah and say: “Happy is the one whom you choose and bring near to reside in your courtyards.” (Ps. 65:4) So, let try hard to do the same thing that Joshua say here: “As for me and my household, we will serve Jehovah.”—Josh. 24:15.
