GUI 87 Come! Be Refreshed
Tɔ Ga Faa Vagɔ Ga De Lɔtɔ Ɣiini Ba!
“Wɛlɛ! Tɔ ɓɔɔ ga faa vagɔ, e ga kuuzu nɛɛ ʋaa, Ga leɣeni ɓɔga liɛni te yɛ kii-ma zii-laa zu!”—PS. 133:1.
WHAT THE MAIN POINT?
Some thing dem that can help us to draw close to our brothers and sisters, and the plenty blessings that can come when we be friendly with them.
1-2. Ɓɛɛni ka ɓɔɔ de ʋize wogɛi Jehova ɣaazu, tɔwɔ zɛɓɛi e wõini de kɛ?
THE way we can treat other people really important to Jehovah. Jesus say we must love our neighbor the same way we love ourself. (Matt. 22:37-39) And this one mean that we must be kind to people who not even Jehovah Witness. When we do it, we will be following Jehovah example who can “make his sun to shine on the wicked people and on the good people, and he can make the rain to fall on those who can do good things and those who can do bad things.”—Matt. 5:45.
2 Jehovah love everybody. But he get more love for the people dem who can obey him. (John 14:21) He want us to follow his example. So he encourage us to get “intense love” for our brother and sister dem and show them “tender affection.” (1 Pet. 4:8; Rom. 12:10) That this kindna love we can get for our family member or relative who we close to or our close friend.
3. Zɛɓɛi maa nɛɛ de pɛɛ ɣibɛ e vile wõilai va?
3 Love looking just like flower. We need to take care of it for it to grow. That the reason why the apostle Paul tell Christians: “Let your brotherly love continue.” (Heb. 13:1) Jehovah want us to continue learning to get more love for other people. This article will help us to see why we must continue to draw more close to our brother and sister dem and how we can continue doing it.
ZƐƁƐI E KƐƐ MAA NƐƐ DE LƆTƆ DE ƔAA YƆWƆ̃ITIƐ VA
4. E ɣɛ velei bogai la Psalm 133:1 zu, zɛɓɛi ya ɓɔ de va ga ki pagɔ ɣɛ de ya e vile de ɣaa yɔwɔ̃itiɛ va? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)
4 Read Psalm 133:1. We agree with the psalmist who say to make friend with people who love Jehovah, it “good” and “pleasant.” Just how somebody can overlook something important that they can see everyday, that the same way if we not careful, we will overlook the unity we get among ourself. We can see our brother and sister dem plenty time during the week. So how we can continue to show that we value them? One way that to take time to think about how everybody important to the congregation and to us. And that one will make our love for them to grow.
Always value the unity we get among ourself (See paragraph 4)
5. Wõilai da dɛ ga ɣiini towa ɓɔ numaa va ɣɛ le?
5 When some people attend our meeting for the first time and see the love we get among ourself, it can really touch their heart. Because of that, they can be convince that they na find the truth. Jesus say: “By this all will know that you are my disciples—if you have love among yourselves.” (John 13:35) Let see the experience of one university student name Chaithra, who wor studying with Jehovah Witnesses. She accept the invitation to attend one convention. After she attend the convention for the first day, she tell the sister who wor studying with her say, “My parents never hug me before. But to yor convention, the people dem hug me 52 time just that day! It made me feel that Jehovah wor using his people to show that he really love me. I want be part of Jehovah family.” Chaithra continue to make progress and she get baptize in 2024. Yes, when people see the good-good thing dem we can do and the love we get among ourself, most of the time it can make them to serve Jehovah.—Matt. 5:16.
6. Ani da lɔtɔna de ɣaa yɔwɔ̃itiɛ va ta ɓɔ de va ɣɛ le?
6 When we draw more close to our brother and sister dem, it can protect us. So Paul encourage his brother and sister dem. He say: “Keep on encouraging one another each day . . . so that none of you should become hardened by the deceptive power of sin.” (Heb. 3:13) If we get discourage and start going away from the truth small-small, sometime Jehovah can use our brother or sister who notice it to help us. (Ps. 73:2, 17, 23) Their encouragement can help us to not leave Jehovah.
7. Wõila ɓɔga zee-vili-kiizu te vilegɛ kii-la ɣɛ le? (Kolasaitiɛ 3:13, 14)
7 We part of one group of people who trying hard to show love to each other, so we enjoying plenty blessings. (1 John 4:11) For example, love can make us to “continue putting up with one another,” and that what make us to be united. (Read Colossians 3:13, 14; Eph. 4:2-6) So the peace and unity we can enjoy to our meetings, no other group on earth can enjoy it.
A WŨFE ƔIINI MA
8. Zɛɓɛi Jehova kɛɛzu ga e ɓɔ de va ga de zee-vili-kiizu maa zɔlɔwo?
8 The unity we enjoying all over the world that real miracle. That Jehovah make this one to happen even though we not perfect. (1 Cor. 12:24, 25) The Bible say that Jehovah teaching us to love each other. (1 Thess. 4:9) That mean he using the Bible to tell us what we must do to draw more close to each other. Jehovah can teach us when we take our time to read the Bible and do the thing dem it say. (Heb. 4:12; Jas. 1:25) And that just what Jehovah Witnesses can try hard to do.
9. Zɛɓɛi de maa wolia Loomɛitiɛ 12:9-13 zu, e vile velei va da wũfe la ɣiini ma?
9 How the Bible teaching us to draw more close to each other? Let see what Paul say in Romans 12:9-13. (Read.) He say, “in showing honor to one another, take the lead.” What it mean? It mean, we must be the first to show “tender affection” by sharing what we get with other people and forgiving them. (Eph. 4:32) You must not wait for your brother or sister to draw more close to you. You must “take the lead” to do it. Jesus say: “There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.”—Acts 20:35.
10. Da leve ɣɛ le de ɣaa-ɓaa “wũfe-ma luo-woga zu”? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)
10 It interesting that right after Paul tell us to take the lead in showing honor to each other, he encourage us to be “be industrious, not lazy.” Somebody who industrious can get zeal and be hardworking. When the person get work to do, they can do it good-good. Proverbs 3:27, 28 say: “Do not withhold good from those to whom you should give it if it is within your power to help.” So when we see that somebody really need help, we must try our best to help the person. We must not waste time or feel that somebody else will do it.—1 John 3:17, 18.
We must take upon ourself to help our brother and sister dem who need help (See paragraph 10)
11. Zɛɓɛi ya ɓɔ de va ga de lɔtɔ ɣii va?
11 Another way we can show honor to other people that to be quick to forgive them when they make us feel bad. Ephesians 4:26 say: “Do not let the sun set while you are still angry.” Why? Verse 27 say if we do it we will “give the Devil an opportunity.” In the Bible, Jehovah tell us over and over to forgive each other. Colossians 3:13 tell us to “continue . . . forgiving one another freely.” Forgiving other people mistakes, that one of the things that can make us to draw more close to them. When we do it, we can help “to maintain the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace.” (Eph. 4:3) So when we forgive, it can help the congregation to be in peace and be united.
12. Jehova ɣa ɓɔ de va ɣɛ le ga de ɣɛ ga su-ʋaa-yɛ bo bea?
12 To talk the truth, sometime it can be hard to forgive people who made us feel bad. But with the help of God holy spirit we able to do it. After encouraging us to “get tender affection for one another” and “be industrious,” the Bible also say: “Be aglow with the spirit.” To be “aglow” mean to really be having zeal because of the holy spirit. (See study note on Romans 12:11.) So, God spirit can help us to show love and to forgive each other from our heart. That the reason why we must really beg Jehovah to help us.—Luke 11:13.
‘GAA WƐƐ MƐLƐ ƔƐ WO YƆƆZU’
13. Faa taniga ta ga zɛɓɛ ya va ga gaa wɛɛ de yɔɔzu?
13 The congregation get “all sorts of people” that come from different-different backgrounds. (1 Tim. 2:3, 4) If we not careful, we can allow this one to divide us especially when it come to the way we feel about certain things. For example, the way we can dress and fix our hair, take care of our health, or the thing dem we can enjoy ourself with, like music or show. (Rom. 14:4; 1 Cor. 1:10) Because God na teach us to love each other, we must be careful to not think that the way we feel about certain thing, better pass the way other people feel about it.—Phil. 2:3.
14. Zɛɓɛi maa nɛɛ de ɣaa-ɓaa ga diɛ kɛ tɔwɔ zɛɓɛ ʋaa ma?
14 We can also help to not divide the congregation by trying hard to always encourage other people and make them happy. (1 Thess. 5:11) This few time, plenty inactive people or people who they move from the congregation na come back. We happy to welcome them! (2 Cor. 2:8) See what happen to one sister who come back to the Kingdom Hall after she wor inactive for ten years. She say, “The brother and sister dem speak to me, smile with me and even shake my hand.” (Acts 3:19) How it make her to feel? She say, “It made me feel that Jehovah seh wor helping me to be happy again.” When we learn to encourage everybody, Jesus Christ can use us to help those “who tire and get heavy load” to be happy again.—Matt. 11:28, 29.
15. Zɛɓɛi wɔnɔ da kɛ ga zee-vili-kiizu ɣɛ de yɔɔzu? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)
15 Another way we can help the congregation to be united that to be careful with what we say. Job 12:11 say: “Does not the ear test out words as the tongue tastes food?” Somebody who can cook good, will always taste his food to make sure that it sweet before he give it to other people. That the same way we must think good-good about what to say before we say it. (Ps. 141:3) So we must always make sure that what we want say must be something that will encourage other people, make them happy, and be “beneficial to the hearers.”—Eph. 4:29.
Think about what you want say before you say it (See paragraph 15)
16.Ɓɛɛni ka ɓɔɔ maa nɛɛ tiɛ yɛpɛ wõila vele zu?
16 Husbands and parents must really be careful with the thing dem they say so it can encourage people. (Col. 3:19, 21; Titus 2:4) The elder dem that shepherds for Jehovah people, so they must say things that can encourage and comfort them. (Isa. 32:1, 2; Gal. 6:1) That the reason why the Bible say: “A word spoken at the right time—how good it is!”—Prov. 15:23.
DE WÕILA LƐ “DE ƔƐƐ ƲAI ZU TA GAAMA”
17. Da leve ɣɛ le de dɛ ga wõila ɓɔɔɓɔɔ ka de ya de ɣaa yɔwɔ̃itiɛ faa ma?
17 The apostle John encourage us to “love, not in word or with the tongue, but in deed and truth.” (1 John 3:18) We want our love for our brother and sister dem to come from our heart. But how we can do it? The more time we spend with our brother and sister dem, that the more we will get close to each other and our love for them will be more strong. So, look for way to spend time with your brother and sister dem. You can do it to the meetings and in the field service. Find time to visit them. When we do it, we will show that Jehovah teaching us to love each other. (1 Thess. 4:9) And we will continue to see for ourself “how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!”—Ps. 133:1.
