34 I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you,+ you also love one another.+ 35 By this all will know that you are my disciples—if you have love among yourselves.”+

22 Now that you have purified yourselves* by your obedience to the truth with unhypocritical brotherly affection+ as the result, love one another intensely from the heart.+

21 And we have this commandment from him, that whoever loves God must also love his brother.+
