15 Akhusucabange isiqubuthu simangele, sithukiwe begodu sinelaka nasibona uSawula atjhumayela kiso ngoJesu emasinagogeni. (IzEnzo 13:2, 3) Kuthe basasebenzela uJehova bazile nokudla, ummoya ocwengileko wathi: “Ngibekelani eqadi uBharinabhasi noSawula bona benze umsebenzi engibabizele ukuthi bawenze.” 3 Ngemva kokuzila ukudla nokuthandaza, bababeka izandla bathi bakhambe.

“Bazaliswa Ngethabo Nangommoya Ocwengileko”
4 Kubayini ummoya ocwengileko wanqopha ngokukhethekileko kuBharinabhasi noSawula bona benze “umsebenzi”? (IzE. 13:2) IBhayibheli alitjho. Siyazi ukuthi ummoya ocwengileko wakhetha amadoda la. Abukho ubufakazi obutjengisa ukuthi abaphorofidi nabafundisi be-Anthiyokiya baphikisa isiqunto esithethwekwesi. Kunalokho, basisekela ngokupheleleko isiquntwesi. 5 Kokuthoma, uPowula noBharinabhasi bajama e-Ikhoniyo, ebeyinamathele khulu emasikweni wamaGirigi begodu ebeyingenye yeendawo ebeziqakatheke khulu esifundeni seRoma, iGalatiya. Umuzi lo bewuhlala amaJuda amanengi begodu bekunesibalo esikhulu sabantu abangasimaJuda. Ngokwesiga sabo, uPowula noBharinabhasi bangena esinagogeni begodu bathoma ukutjhumayela. 4 Kwathi ngemva kobana uPowula noBharinabhasi bakweriyele eDerbe, “babuyela eListra, e-Ikhoniyo ne-Anthiyorhiya, baqinisa bebakhuthaza abafundi bona baragele phambili ngokukholwa, bathi: ‘Kufuze sidlule ebunzimeni obunengi ngaphambi kobana singene embusweni kaZimu.’” (IzE. 14:21, 22) Amezwi la angakurara newuwezwa kokuthoma. Ngaphandle kwalokho, ukucabanga ngokuthi kufuze uqalane “nobudisi obunengi” akukhuthazi, kodwana kubanga amatlhuwo. Kodwana kwenzeka njani ukuthi uPowula noBharinabhasi ‘baqinise abafundi’ ngamezwi akhuluma ngobudisi obunengi?
5 Ipendulo yombuzo lo singayifumana nesingahlolisisa amezwi kaPowula la. Akhenge athi: “Kufuze sikghodlhelelele ubunzima obunengi.” Kodwana wathi: “Kufuze sidlule ebunzimeni obunengi ngaphambi kokuthi singene embusweni kaZimu.” Yeke, uPowula bekakhanyisa ukuthi umlando wokuthembeka kuZimu unomvuzo. Ngemva kwalokho baphuma, bakhamba boke isikhatjhana endleleni, msinyana ingilozi yamtjhiya lapho. 11 Alemuka okwenzekileko, uPitrosi wathi: “Nje sengazi kuhle ukuthi uJehova uthumele ingilozi yakhe, yangitjhaphulula esandleni sakaHerode nakikho koke amaJuda ebekalindele ukuthi kuzokwenzeka.” 12 Ngemva kokulemuka lokhu, watjhinga endlini kaMariya unina kaJwanisi obekabizwa ngokuthi nguMarkosi, lapho bekubuthene khona abafundi abanengi, bathandaza. 13 Wakokoda emnyango, kweza isisebenzi somntazana ekuthiwa nguRoda sizokuqala ukuthi ngubani. 14 Nasizwa iphimbo lakaPitrosi, sathaba khulu kangangokuthi akhenge sivule nomnyango, kodwana sagijimela ngaphakathi, sayokubika ukuthi uPitrosi ujame emnyango. 15 Bathi kiso: “Uyarhapha.” Kodwana saphikelela ngokuthi kunjalo. Nje-ke bathi: “Yingilozakhe.” 16 Kodwana uPitrosi wasolo ajame lapho, akokoda. Nabavula umnyango, bambona, barareka. 17 Wabatjengisa ngesandla sakhe bona bathule, wabatjela ngokuzeleko indlela uJehova amtjhaphulule ngayo ejele, wathi: “Bikelani uJakopo nabafowethu ngalokhu.” Waphumela ngaphandle, watjhinga kenye indawo.

Kubayini ungabafaki emthandazwenakho? Mhlamunye bakhona obaziko abaqalene neenkhathi ezibudisi ezingabonakaliko, njengemiraro yemindeni, ukudana, namkha ezinye iintjhijilo ezilinga ukukholwa kwabo. 6 Umtlolo owasiza ekurarululeni indaba le ngu-Amosi 9:11, 12. Funda Ukuphaphama Ebapostolini BakaJesu
8 Singafundani esenzakalwenesi? Tjheja bona ummoya kaZimu wangenela kwaphela ngemva kobana uPowula athome ikhambo lokuya e-Asiya. Ngemva kwalokho, uJesu wangenela kwaphela ngemva kobana uPowula atjhidele eBhethaniya. Emaswapheleni, uJesu wanqophisela uPowula eMasedoniya kwaphela ngemva kobana sekafike eTrowasi. Njengombana ayiHloko yebandla, uJesu angasebenzelana nathi ngendlela efanako. (IzEnzo 20:28) Zitjhejeni nina nawo woke umhlambi, ummoya ocwengileko onibeke hlangana nawo bona nibe batlhogomeli, neluse ibandla lakaZimu, alithenge ngeengazi zeNdodanakhe.
‘Yelusani Umhlambi KaZimu Eniwuphathisiweko’
5 Umpostoli watlola bona amadoda amadala kufuze ‘aluse umhlambi kaZimu aphathiswe wona.’ Bekuqakatheke khulu ukulemuka bona umhlambi ngewakaJehova noJesu Krestu. Abadala bebazoziphendulela ngendlela abatlhogomela ngayo izimvu zakaZimu. Akhesithi umngani enimamathe nelimu naye ukubawa bona utlhogomele abantwabakhe nekasaye endaweni ethileko. Ngeze wabatlhogomela kuhle ubanikele nokudla? Nekungenzeka omunye wabo agule, ngeze waqiniseka bona ufumana isizo lezokwelapha alitlhogako? Ngokufanako abadala ebandleni kufanele ‘baluse ibandla lakaZimu, alithenge ngeengazi zeNdodanakhe.’ (IZe. 20:28) Bahlala bakhumbula bona imvu ngayinye ithengwe ngeengazi eziligugu zakaKrestu uJesu. Njengombana bazoziphendulela, abadala bayondla, bavikele, begodu batlhogomele umhlambi.

Abadala AbamaKrestu—‘Baziinsebenzi Ezikunye Nathi Bona Sithabe’
15 Ukuba ngumelusi kumsebenzi obudisi. Ngezinye iinkhathi abadala abalali benza imithandazo ngebanga lomhlambi kaZimu namtjhana banikela isekelo elingokomoya emakholweni abakunye nawo. 11 UPowula bekafundisa ewolweni lesikolo kusukela ngabo 11:00 ekuseni bekube ngabo 4:00 ntambama. (IzE. 19:9, ftn.) Lezo bekuziinkhathi ezithule khulu kodwana bekutjhisa bhe, inengi belilisa umsebenzalo bona lidle begodu liphumule. Akhusucabange ngathana uPowula walandela ihlelo elibudiseli iminyaka emibili yoke, bekazokusebenza ama-awara angaphezu kwee-3 000 afundisa. “Likhula Begodu Lithumba Ngendlela Enamandla” Naphezu Kokuphikiswa
15 Ukuhlaziswa kwamadodana kaSikeva kwadosela ekusabeni uZimu, okwatjhukumisela abanengi bona babe makholwa begodu balahla iimfundiso zobudimoni. Abantu be-Efesu bebadzimelele khulu ezintweni zemilingo. Ubuloyi nokufaka izinto zokuzivikela bekujayelekile endaweni leyo, ezinye izinto zemilingo bezitlolwa ngesandla. Abantu abanengi ebebenza imilingo baletha iincwadi zabo zemilingo bazitjhisa phambi kwawo woke umuntu—ubufakazi buveza ukuthi izintwezo bezibiza imali engaba ziinkulungwana ezimatjhumi zamadola ngokwendlela yokubala yanamhlanjesi. ULukasi uthi: “Ilizwi lakaJehova laragela phambili likhula begodu lithumba ngendlela enamandla.” (IzE. 19:17-20) Kwaba nomphumela omuhle khulu ukuthi iqiniso lihlule iimfundiso zamala namademoni! Abantu abathembekilekwabo basibekela isibonelo esihle namhlanjesi. Ngendlela efanako, nathi siphila ephasini elidzimelele khulu ezintweni zobungoma. Nange sifumana okuthileko okukhambisana nobungoma, kufuze senze njengabantu be-Efesu—sizitjhise msinyana! Asibe kude khulu nemikghwa enyenyisako le, kunganandaba bona sizokulahlekelwa yini.

Lapho wafumana abanye abafundi 2 wathi kibo: “Nawufumana ummoya ocwengileko lokha naniba makholwa na?” Bathi kuye: “Akhenge khesizwe nokobana kunommoya ocwengileko.” 3 Yeke wathi: “Alo-ke nabhajadiswa ngaliphi ibhabhadiso?” Bathi: “Ngebhabhadiso lakaJwanisi.” 4 UPowula wathi: “UJwanisi wabhabhadisa ngebhabhadiso elilitshwayo lokutjhuguluka, atjela abantu ukuthi bakholwe kiloyo oza ngemva kwakhe, okunguJesu.” 5 Nabezwa lokhu, babhajadiswa ebizweni leKosi uJesu. 6 UPowula nakababeka izandla, ummoya ocwengileko wehlela phezu kwabo, bathoma ukukhuluma ngamanye amalimi begodu baphorofida. 7 Baboke bekumadoda angaba li-12. 8 Wangena esinagogeni, wakhuluma ngesibindi iinyanga ezintathu, athula iinkulumo, akhuluma nangendlela ekholisako ngomBuso kaZimu. 9 Kodwana kwathi abanye nabala ngekani ukukholwa, bakhuluma kumbi ngeNdlela phambi kwesiqubuthu, wasuka kibo, wathatha nabafundi, wethula iinkulumo qobe langa ewolweni lesikolo sakaTiranusi. 10 Lokhu kwaraga iminyaka emibili, ukwenzela bona boke abahlala esifundeni se-Asiya bezwe ilizwi leKosi, kokubili amaJuda namaGirigi. 11 UZimu wasolo enza imisebenzi yamandla engakajayeleki ngezandla zakaPowula, 12 kangangobana ngitjho amatjhila nezambatho ezithinte umzimbakhe bezisiwa ebantwini abagulako baphole, nemimoya emimbi iphume. 13 Kodwana amanye amaJuda egade akhambakhamba lapho aqotha amadimoni nawo alinga ukusebenzisa ibizo leKosi uJesu kilabo ebebanemimoya emimbi; athi: “Ngebizo lakaJesu uPowula atjhumayela ngaye ngikuyala bona uphume.” 14 Nje-ke bekunamadodana alikhomba womphristi omkhulu omJuda ibizo lakhe linguSikeva ebekenza lokhu. 15 Kodwana ummoya omumbi wawaphendula wathi kiwo: “Ngiyamazi uJesu begodu ngimjayele noPowula; nina nibobani?” 16 Nje-ke indoda enommoya omumbi leyo yabeqela, yawahlula ngokulandelana kwawo, yathumba, kangangobana aphuma endlini leyo angakambathi begodu alimele. 17 Woke amaJuda namaGirigi ahlala e-Efesu ezwa ngalokho; afikelwa kukwesaba, ibizo leKosi uJesu laragela phambi liphazinyuliswa. 18 Abantu abanengi ababa makholwa bebeza bavume izono begodu babike nezenzo zabo tjhatjhalazi. 19 Abanengi balabo ebebenza imilingo baletha iincwadi zabo bazitjhisa phambi kwawo woke umuntu.
