14 After whom has the king of Israel gone out? Whom are you chasing? A dead dog? A single flea?+

9 Then A·bishʹai the son of Ze·ruʹiah+ said to the king: “Why should this dead dog+ curse my lord the king?+ Let me go over, please, and take off his head.”+

13 Hazʹa·el said: “How could your servant, who is a mere dog, do such a deed?” But E·liʹsha said: “Jehovah has shown me that you will be king over Syria.”+
