4 In his haughtiness, the wicked man makes no investigation;

All his thoughts are: “There is no God.”+

 3 How long will the wicked, O Jehovah,

How long will the wicked continue to exult?+

 7 They say: “Jah does not see;+

The God of Jacob does not take notice of it.”+

12 At that time I will carefully search Jerusalem with lamps,

And I will call to account the complacent ones,* who say in their heart,

‘Jehovah will not do good, and he will not do bad.’+
