5 Because being under his anger is only for a moment,+

But being in his favor* is for a lifetime.+

 7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you,

But with great mercy I will gather you back.+

17 I was indignant at his sinful pursuit of dishonest gain,+

So I struck him, I hid my face, and I was indignant.

18 I have seen his ways,

But I will heal him+ and lead him+

And restore* comfort to him+ and to his mourning ones.”+
