23 “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares Jehovah.+

6 My people have become a flock of lost sheep.+ Their own shepherds caused them to stray.+ They led them away onto the mountains, roaming from mountain to hill. They have forgotten their resting-place.

5 So they were scattered because there was no shepherd;+ they were scattered and became food for every wild beast of the field.
